Buy a bag of popcorn and go sit in the pharmacy and watch the over the top rudeness from the staff and the appropriately bold responses of the customers who are simply there to pick up their meds or get a vaccine. It's truly entertaining. Would give 5 stars but that elderly man sitting there for well over an hour without being acknowledged (except for when I heard the woman behind the glass exclaim to her coworkers that she forgot his name) made me sad.

Walgreens on Groomtown Rd lost a customer today. I just transfered my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Been going here for probably ten years but not anymore. Have me stand in line, try to skip over me, and then tell me I have to make an appointment to pick up my meds. I'm done.

I will never return to this pharmacy AGAIN! Definitely not lgbT friendly. I was just here to pick up my testosterone prescription and told the rep what kind of needles I needed and have been using all year and the manager with a headband w/deer horns on them refused to give them to me. Telling the rep “He doesn’t need those kind”. The rep proceeded to tell me the other kind was the only ones she could get and when I was telling the manager that I can’t use that kind she ignored and looked over me as if I wasn’t human nor standing right there speaking. I have never had an experience like this allll this time I have been on T. I recently moved on this side and just switched my prescription here but going forward I will rather drive 30 minutes for better care, respect, and service than subject myself to this type of discriminatory disrespect.

Terrible customer service, waited nearly an hour?save your time and go elsewhere for vaccines. My appointment was 10:40am and not a single person in line ahead of me or getting vaxxed. I finally got my vaccine at 11:30am. 50 minutes later. The staff laughed and chatted loudly in the back, I know all about them now. Only one person at the counter( at least she was nice though). You stand at the counter to give your ins info and to check in. Then you sit and wait a while. Then staff shows up with a clipboard for you to complete . Then you get in line again, by now 6-7 people deep to hand in the clipboard. Then you go sit and wait once again. A staff member finally came out to get the clip board while I was in line and I asked if I should reschedule? She was clearly annoyed by my question and answered rudely that they get people back as fast as they can. No apologies. At 11:30 I got my shot, I mentioned that my appt. was at 10:40, again no apology at all but defensive comments. I told the PhD that I didn’t appreciate the rudeness or the lengthy wait. She acted as if everyone waits that long. I mentioned that I was in and out in less than 10 min with other 2 vaccines at another busier Walgreens. Rude from the top down and they could care less when your appt. time is.

I rarely write reviews but.....This pharmacy is sooo unorganized. They lose insurance information. They don't check for new prescriptions from the doctor, They have to order meds often and you may have to wait for several days to get your meds. If you ask questions about problems or delays some staff is rude or sarcastic. And many times when the meds are finally ready you don't receive the notification. It was much better when it was a CVS store.

don't use this pharmacy. They will mess up your order. Cost way too much compare with others. Check GoodRx app for price. (Walmart or Harris Teeter have better price).
