Foul attitude/foul odor
I referred a client to this Boost Mobile location to take advantage of their promotions, but the experience they had was nothing short of unacceptable. The client left feeling confused and frustrated due to the lack of clear instructions and poor communication about the promotion terms.
The store itself is unprofessional and unsanitary. There’s a foul odor in the air, as if people smoke in there 24/7. It feels like the place has never been properly cleaned or sanitized. This is unacceptable for a business that interacts with the public daily. Additionally, Tia, the so-called manager, presented herself in an unkempt and unprofessional manner. Her nails looked filthy, as if she never washes her hands—another red flag when dealing with customers face-to-face.
Instead of calmly explaining the details of the promotion and helping my client understand their options, Tia chose to fast-talk and dismiss their concerns. She seemed more interested in getting the client out the door than in providing proper customer service. When pressed for clarity, she became visibly frustrated, defensive, and combative—behavior that is entirely inappropriate for someone in a managerial role.
Good customer service is about helping clients leave with a clear understanding and a positive experience. A professional manager should explain the details calmly and thoroughly, ensuring the customer feels valued and informed. Instead, Tia took advantage of the fact that many customers might not know the right questions to ask and became defensive when faced with someone who did. She comes off as someone who wants to “tell” customers what to do rather than help them understand their options. She is there for confrontation, not resolution.
This location reflects poorly on the Boost Mobile brand. Corporate needs to take a closer look at who they allow to manage their stores because having someone like Tia in charge is bad for business. Customers deserve better than this unprofessional and unpleasant experience.

HORRIBLE HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE
My experience at Boost Mobile with Tia, who claimed to be the store manager, was beyond disappointing. I went into the store seeking clarification about a transaction my husband made the day before, but instead of providing clear and respectful answers, Tia was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional.
From the beginning, she was huffing and puffing, clearly bothered by having to explain the situation. She repeatedly referenced what she explained to my husband yesterday, but I was the one in the store today, seeking an understanding. When I asked specific questions, like why my husband, who was approved for $2,600, couldn’t get a $250 promo iPhone 15 without purchasing additional accessories, I was met with evasive responses. It eventually came out that he had to spend a minimum of $500 to qualify for the phone through ACIMA, but this was never explained clearly upfront.
Instead of calmly addressing my concerns, Tia became defensive and unprofessional, especially after I used the word “bamboozle” to describe how I felt about the lack of transparency. She claimed she’s a good person with no prior complaints, but good customer service is about providing clarity and respect, neither of which she demonstrated.
To make matters worse, the store itself was unpleasant. It reeked of smoke, and Tia’s appearance was unprofessional—her nails were visibly dirty, and her overall presentation lacked care. Meanwhile, the new employee working beside her was polite, helpful, and seemed to genuinely understand my frustration. He handled the situation far better than Tia did.
Tia should not be in a customer-facing role, let alone managing a store. Her attitude, lack of professionalism, and inability to provide clear answers made this an incredibly frustrating experience. If this is how this Boost Mobile location operates, I will not be returning, and I would caution others against doing business there. Further training is needed for Tia.

Went with my mom so she can pay her bill. My mom was trying to pay a bill for two separate phones, which was both activated. My mom forgets things sometimes, and she messed up and gave the girl tierra the wrong number. The girl proceeded with the bill but after the payment went through told my mom that the number she gave wasn't activated. I asked her how she didnt catch that before my mom entered her card she caught an attitude. She got mad because she billed my mom for a phone that wasn't activated and when I asked her how was that possible she got upset and refused to answer the question. She went outside to make a call and was doing a whole lot of cursing over the phone, so I assume she called her boss and lied and said I was being aggressive and her boss which I believe told her to call the police. She was aggressive for nothing when all she had to say was she made a mistake and can correct it but instead got offended because I pointed out her mistake which the guy in the store didn't understand how she didn't catch that either and some people do fraudulent things and I thought that was a little funny seeing that the phone wasn't activated at all. The police showed up and she lied to them saying that she told us she didn't want to serve us anymore, but the thing is, she never asked anyone to leave. I'm starting to think because of my mom disability she wanted me out of the store just to take advantage. I'm definitely getting in contact with corporate.

Well.....where do I start, I bought a phone for my 90 year old Mom (she wanted a smart phone) I was told that I could call Boost after the purchase and change the plan to the $25 a month plan. LIES!!!!! was also told the ACP program had ended, MORE LIES!!!!!! I live in NJ and I can't wait til I'm back to Greenville. Stephven and Joshua should be ashamed of themselves. Stephven for being so thirsty for a sale and Joshua who said he was the district manager who never returned our call after speaking to him twice. SMH. So disappointing. :( BEWARE DO YOUR HOMEWORK SHOP AROUND.
