My husband's company has a program that saves on prescriptions with CVS or I would switch. The employees are generally nice but this location is so slow at the drive thru. I am usually out quick when it's my turn so maybe it's also certain customers? It doesn't matter what time I visit, the line is always really long and seems to take forever.

So difficult to get your prescription or a prescription refilled at CVS locations nowadays. You have no ability to contact the pharmacy directly, you’re forced to leave a voicemail message under your profile, that they can only check by pulling up your profile 🙂 (so they have no idea you’ve left a message for services unless you let them know that you left a message for service request) but like I said you can not call, so you have to show up in person for any services from the pharmacy. A completely outdated and inconvenient way to service customers.

ABSOLUTE TRASH. Would give 0 stars if possible. Do not come here if you need your prescriptions. I called at 3:30 and left a voicemail because they don’t have a phone line to answer. Came after work at 8:35 to get my prescriptions and they said they didn’t have a voicemail even though I had a text confirmation I left one. The pharmacist John said well we leave in 20 minutes so you won’t have them tonight. I told him I didn’t need all 5 tonight, just the antibiotics. He told me I could look up Publix number and give it to him but they were closed and I said no they aren’t according to google and he ignored me and kept talking to the other 8 pharmacy employees just standing there. Finally I asked if he was going to call and at this point it’s 8:45 and Publix answers and he gets the info. I said again, I just need the antibiotics filled. He stood around talking and then at 8:55 came up and said we haven’t gotten the fax yet so you aren’t getting the prescription tonight and I asked him why he didn’t just get a verbal. I told him again that my husband was sick and needed the antibiotics and he just shrugged his shoulders. I asked him what his name was and if I could have his managers number and he walked away and went and started talking to a coworker about what kind of coffee he had this morning and ignored me. I had to ask the shift manager up front for the pharmacist name. So unprofessional and now my husband can’t start his antibiotics tonight like he needed to because the pharmacist had an attitude and wanted to prove a point that they were about to close and we weren’t getting our meds. Absolutely ridiculous and beyond pissed.

Very slow, do not refill longstanding prescriptions when they are due, send messages that prescriptions are ready but after waiting in drive through have to go in and wait another half hour

Terrible. No organization. Long lines and don't have medicine to fill prescriptions which is not their fault, they say, but don't alert customers.

The craziest location ever. Used to be doctor would send over the information, and you would get your stuff. Simple two-step process.
Now it’s nuts: there is always an issue. Not just being dramatic; I mean the last 6 times I have gone in the past 6 months, it’s never just picking up the prescription. It’s always 30 minutes of waiting and/or trying to figure out insurance and/or some issue with the doctors office.
They are nice, but it’s definitely not a quick process. They need more staff or maybe to limit their business as they seem way too overworked.

Terrible. Unable to speak with the Pharmacy Team. Asks for a voicemail to be left. What’s up with this kind of Healthcare?

Still waiting for an urgently needed prescription, going on 5 hours now! You cannot get a human on the phone, nor do they want you to! I called Walgreens and got a human in 1 minute! They say they can fill prescriptions way faster than that so I may be going there! I've been with CVS since they were Revco but I've definitely had enough!

The location is not properly manned if they can’t fill a simple rx from a bottle in 8 hours. Then when you call to get an update, they pick up phone and place back on hold without speaking (I have been there and watched as well as been on the phone when it happened.) It’s unacceptable business practice and service.

I want to praise the ones working the pharmacy on 4/5/2024 in the evening. Especially the guy who helped me. He went above and beyond to help me out! Without that help my brother would not have the medication he needs to survive right now. I'm so thankful to him and them for being compassionate, kind and understanding!

The pharmacy is very much so out of order. When my doctors and my kids pediatrician send over subscriptions CVS system never seem to get it. Once it only got half of the order of some meds I really needed. Then it all came through the next day. The staff were just not cooperative at all instead they blamed the doctors office. This has happened to me 3 times which is officially the charm for me to move on to Walgreens. CVS on East Firetower has given me too many bad experiences.

The place to go for exceptional discounts on many important items... thank you CVS.
