HORRIBLE customer service! I will NEVER recommend to anyone! After not having our pod full of our belongings for 9 days, the driver showed up to deliver to our new house two hours earlier than scheduled time with no warning he was in his way. Since we weren’t home he took it back to the storage facility. After spending over 3hrs on the phone and demanding our pod to be delivered (still during the scheduled window time), every customer service representative gave us the run around, put us on hold for a ridiculous amount of time, and being transferred to supervisors that still could not help, we ended up getting hung up on. We still did not get our pod and is scheduled again for delivery the next day. They are being compensating an amount for the inconvenience, but I will be demanding more once we finally get our pod for the horrible customer service experience we are currently dealing with.

Horrible customer service. Extremely long wait times on the phone and no one at corporate caring about how this process negatively impacts the consumer.

PODS was most helpful for me. I was thankful that I did not have to put my items into storage. I would have had to go to the next town because storage in my area was filled. Thank you PODS. You saved the day.

I used PODS once before but this time was a total nightmare and will never use them again? the computer system tried to double bill me then it was delivered way past the date it was supposed to arrive.???

Make sure you fully understand the process and charges. They held our Pods hostage until we signed a new contract. We were delayed in getting our stuff and then they charged us an additional moth storage. We were assigned a customer advocacy person and he never returned our calls. We are still trying to resolve our charges. DO NOT PUT THEM ON AUTODRAFT!!!

Never again! They parked the container on the street, and did not pick it up on time. Each day they failed to come, they put a hold on my credit card. This was a lot of grief on the week before Christmas.

This was our first time using a POD. While it was pricey, the convenience was worth it.Our driver was kind and put up with my husband geeking out over the robot they use to get the pod off/on the truck.It was so easy to just load/unload the pod as we packed things rather the frantic rush that comes with a truck rental.I do wish there was a little more flexibility in picking times for pickup/delivery, etc. It seemed that the driver was under a very tight timeline. When it was time to be picked up I had to contact customer service because the date we needed it picked up was not available, despite being almost a week out. I know and understand, of course, that everyone is understaffed right now and doing their best.Every person we've had contact with was professional and seemed to understand our requests.Overall, I'd definitely recommend and would use again.

From the minute I started on the website to the final pickup everyone that I interacted from PODS was professional, helpful and friendly. They didn't mind answering any question and giving me advice to make my move the most efficient as possible. I'm grateful that I was able to use PODS for my move across town.

1 star based on the LACK OF RESPONSE FROM THE CORPORATE OFFICE AND INABILITY TO CONTACT THE REGIONAL MANAGER.PODS wants $35 per container to place the containers on MY LAWN.Pods charges are ridiculously high. $2700 to get my stuff back. Never late on a payment.Bc my address is 58 miles and not 49.9999 from the Fayetteville location I am penalized.Hello pods regional manager and /or ceo: why did my order get rescheduled and I was NEVER INFORMED?Hello PODS! Why should I be respectful to you when I get NOTHING but disrespect?Contact me Kathy!

Lied to us and charged us without an agreement. My wife and I got on the phone with their toll-free customer number and spent about 30 minutes with them. We made it very clear to them. We were not yet ready to decide whether to use portable storage solutions. However, the woman on the line told us we should go ahead and go to the website and fill out the paperwork and schedule a date. However, she told us that if we did not complete the online agreement, we would not be charged and they would not deliver a container.Indeed, the woman we were speaking to stayed on the line while we filled out some forms with our personal information. However, we did not complete the online agreement. Believing what she said, we never completed the agreement because we decided portable storage would damage our antique furniture. Getting it jacked up at a 45° angle and rolled onto a truck is a bad idea for stuff you care about. In any event, today we got a call saying that our container was on the way even though we never agreed to accept the container and I learned that they had already charged our account. When I called the toll free customer service number, David, the PODS representative, was most unhelpful. Because David was insisting that the delivery was appropriate, I conferenced my wife in so she could hear what was being said. I told David we did not want the container and we had never signed the online agreement. David admitted that they had no signed online agreement. He insisted that we cancel the order and I told him there was no order to cancel. He said he would then deliver the pod anyway and he told me they had already put a hold on our account for the money. I told him they had no authority to do that because we did not have a written agreement. I asked him if he could provide me with a copy of the agreement and he said no, proving to me that they did not have one. Nonetheless, he insisted that I say the magic words cancel the order. I told him there was no order to cancel and so I was not going to do that but that we were rejecting the delivery. He then told me that he was just going to go ahead and send the portable container anyway. We went through that loop about five or six times. He insisted that we use the magic words, cancel the order. When I told him again what the initial agent said, he said that she gave us false information. So, I will never do business with this company again and I do not recommend you do either. Their initial agen t told us that we did not have to worry about the delivery if we did not sign the online agreement. We never did. David told us it didn't matter and they charged us anyway. I have filed a fraud affidavit with the bank, and intend to contact the North Carolina State Attorney Aeneral's office and report this fraud to them. I will also contact the Better Business bureau. Stay away from PODS.

*DO NOT USE* Very unhappy with the customer service! Terrible customer service. I am beyond unhappy with the people who work in the customer service department. I usually don't write reviews but the department had a complete attitude prior to being transferred on a call. There seems to be lack of training for the customer service department. When moving there should be an immense amount of communication (stated clear) and in the event of an error the customer service department needs to be attentive not RUDE. ***HORRID CUSTOMER SERVICE***

Dropped off ONE of our units after it was rescheduled and confirmed. CS speaks broken English at best and don't know/care how to work with customers. UPDATE: Now one of my containers is missing!
