If I could give zero stars I would. I'm unsure if there's new staff in the pharmacy but over the past year or so I've never experienced this much horrible customer service. The pharmacist (females) that answer the phone working around 2 o,clock pm over talk you and they hang up the phone mid conversation. When I called back to request a manager the same female answered the call and hung up again. She never says her name she answers saying "patient name and birthdate " Maybe the staff of females should take a specific training on how to answer the phone, when to listen & speak and how not to hang up if the client/customer is asking for a manager to make a complaint.

The lady working the counter at the pharmacy on Thursday the 11th of January 2024 at 12:30pm. The clerk gave the worst customer service. After questioning me with a tone that a mother does to her child in trouble. She made me feel as if I was not a value to the business. She had asked me questions that she had no business asking. She needs to be fired had her boss been there.

My daughter was released from the hospital today. She was given three prescriptions to get filled. She uses this Walgreens because she is a student at ECU. I went there to pick these up. There was a problem with one of them. Something to do with the coding. The pharmacist was unable to fill it the way it was. I was almost in a panic. This was the main medicine she needed. By now it’s 7:40 at night. I started calling the hospital. To my surprise the pharmacist (I think his name was Noah??? I hope that is correct!) had called the hospital too. Long story he was able to get it all straight and had me out the door in 20 minutes with all prescriptions filled. He could have easily just blown me off, but he took the time to take the extra step! He doesn’t realize the stress I was under and he helped me. I’m a customer for life because of his act of kindness.

This Walgreens cancels patients medicines without telling the patient. They also lie always saying they don't know who did it! This has happened on 4 occasion. This Walgreens is not recommended!

If i could leave 0 stars i would the pharmacists and everyone behind the counter is worthless they love to tell you they have your meds make you wait hours to fill it just to tell you they’re out of stock i never should’ve been told they had my medicine it’s almost like they just want to waste your time it’s absolutely ridiculous do anything you can to go somewhere else this place disgusts me

They will lie about u not having any refills so they don't have to do it. They are extremely inexperienced and lack knowledge on how to do certain things that there job requires. I have to tell them everytime to put in codes in there computer because my insurance company calls them and has to tell them every month the same thing on how to bypass things in the system. It's an awful pharmacy. They never have mu medicine in stick and ive been getting it there the same time every month for months. They don't like to answer the phone. It sometimes takes me 45 min to reach someone They will keep putting me on hold and playing music. I will be switching at my next Dr's appt I'm having them send my meds somewhere new. I never leave reviews but this place was so incredibly bad I felt i needed to share to help others avoid the hassles I've gone thru for the past few months.

Rude on the phone. Person was talking to someone else while answering my call then acted annoyed that I was confused. Trying to transfer my daughter insurance info which I was told was in the Walgreens system. She was not willing to check. Will definitely consider changing all 3 scrips to somewhere else. I know they will not be helpful with my daughter as she is learning to be independent if this was an example

Would not fill out our prescription because, “the doctor didn’t have a contract with the insurance provider.” I told them she has state insurance. Instead of looking to see if the right insurance was on file, I got shewed away. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff when people are already feeling at their lowest from a medical procedure

This place is a hot mess. They will shelve prescriptions received from the doctor without notifying you. They lie to my doctor’s office about prescription availability. I’m sick of the run around with this place.

A horrible pharmacy! I’ve been out of my SEIZURE medicine since Saturday night and it’s now Wednesday because this pharmacy! I have called multiple times everyday and yesterday the woman said I would get a text when it’s ready I never got the text and no answers when I tried calling them so I went to the pharmacy drive thru and they said they weren’t even working on it! I called today and got short answers and now I’m calling again to see if it’s ready and got hung up on twice. Definitely switching my pharmacy. Very rude staff and I shouldn’t have to wait 4 days for a medicine I could literally die without!

Why on earth did I send my prescription here????? I have been calling to discuss a prescription and they literally have me holding and pick up the phone every few minutes, don't say anything, and put me right back on hold. They are not busy. Yall don't do it, don't use this pharmacy. It's where your prescriptions and access to care goes to die.

I am OVER Walgreens! EVERYTIME I get one filled there the wait is unrealistically long! I am not well and now can't get my medicine! Switching ASAP! AND they are rude! Never see the actual pharmacist! DONE!

i have never had so many problems with a pharamacy and im definitely gonna be switching soon. I went to the doctor and got a prescription for a rash. simple to clear up, that was the 28th. Usually, within the next few days (largely the very next day) the prescription would be filled and i would get a call. but a week went by and i thought well lets call and check on it. i called on the 4th and the employee who answered the phone was so rude and short with me even though i was just calling to see about my prescription for my simple medical issue that is getting worse by the day. She made it clear that no one has tried to fill it yet and that it would be worked on soon and i will get a call when it is ready. It is now the 9th and no call back. My rash has gotten worse every day and because it is a 14 day supply, it would have already cleared up right now. Instead it just gets bigger and bigger. Im basically having to fight the pharmacy to get it filled. I understand people are busy and short staffed, we are still going through difficult times. I also never complain, or write reviews (esp bad ones). But as a place that handles medical related issues this is ridiculous. No courtesy call about the IMMENSE delay. And when I call to simply check on it as my medical issue gets worse, I get treated like a nuisance. I have really never seen such unprofessionalism from medical services, and Ive had some bad experiences, this is just tragic. In related good news, I called today, spoke to a robot (much nicer than the employee) and it is filled! Who knows when but hey better almost 2 weeks late than never! Sorry for the inconvenience my patronage gives walgreens, Ill be giving yall a break real soon because i am tired of doing this :-)
