Great place to get away for a weekend or for a week. It was so quiet and peaceful. It is about 20-30 minutes from Greenville, where there is shopping, great food, and fun for all.

Love this campground. They have been very nice and easy to work with. Can not wait to get back up there and see them again.

Safely secluded along the banks of the Contentnea Creek. Very reasonably priced. And well-patrolled by the Grifton Police and Park Rangers. All facilities worked very well. The bath house (and restrooms) are closed due to the virus.

The Contentnea Creek RV & Trail Park provides a great location for travelers, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts to relax and enjoy a hiking trail, fishing, fire pits, picnic tables, benches, and more. The park has many primitive camping sites, 10 hookup sites for recreational vehicles and campers with 3 pull through sites. Extended stay and shaded areas, 30 amp and 20 amp powered hookups, and an air-conditioned restroom and bathhouse are all available. Pets are also allowed.
