“Larry, Clay and the service tech team are straight up and do great work. I brought my 1970 Monte Carlo in for a tune-up, AC troubleshooting, and some minor repairs. It's all original and was running rough. After they took a look they provided a detailed quote on what would be needed. They treated the car like it was their own while in the shop. Now she is running nice and keeping me cool when cruising in this heat. Bonus, 20% bump in mpg after the tune-up. Highly recommend these guys.”

“I really can’t say enough about Blake’s Automotive. In my opinion, Blake went above and beyond, in servicing my car.
I was on my way home to Myrtle Beach, when the car began to have a problem. AAA towed me to his shop. He said he would look at it right away. If it was something that he could fix right then and there, he would. He called me at 6pm(they close at 530p). The car was ready. We discussed, in detail, the issue.
I picked the car up the next morning. Blake, again, went out of his way to accommodate me. They are closed on Saturday. He met me Saturday morning and again, spent another 30 minutes explaining the details of what happened with the car.
I am beyond grateful for his patience, kindness, and his professionalism.
Blake's Automotive is a true asset to the Shelby community!!

“Man I had an experience today that blew my mind an honest mechanic. If you're ever in Kings Mtn or the surrounding area and you are in need of great and honest automotive work, consider Buchanan's Auto. I went to another mechanic who I won't mention because it's not about disparaging them it's about praising Buchanan's. This other guy diagnosed my van as needing a new timing belt. 2700.00 was their estimate. I was so close to spending it. I'm really attached to my van, she's been really good to me and the engine is pristine. My local O'Reilly guy recommended Buchanan's that 2700.00 estimate turned into 400.00 bucks new sparkplugs,and a new coil. They could have fleeced me it's good to know there are honest mechanics out there they've got a customer for life now. Thank you.”
