“Uptown and on the square venue to see local musicians perform while enjoying a glass of wine or beer. Extremely friendly staff serving mostly local patrons. Shop offers ample selection of wines for sale. Beer could have been much colder. Congenial ambience inside with a gracious bar and sidewalk tables outside at entry. This charming spot successfully welcomes those looking for evening entertainment and a place for socializing!”

“I have been to a few different high life smoke shops in my life. I can honestly say though the most consistent one I keep going back to is shelby. You won't find a better group of employees and people that care about their customers and aren't just there to sell you stuff but to find out what best suites your needs and budget for them to sell you. They are all top notch people and I'm proud to see that there are ones still there from when I first started going to high life in shelby. It's not always about what store has the coolest pieces or anything like that it's about the way you are treated by people that makes the difference for me.”

“I visit frequently. I'm a smoker. Cigarettes are pretty decent priced for the distance. Vape products are cheap for me as well. They have a drive through. A plus for precipitation days. Inside is not a bad environment with varieties of smoking products. Workers are cool and it's not stressful. I visit frequently. Cool environment.”

“Heck Yeah! This is like stepping into a time tunnel! This store is located in an old building on Main Street! I have no idea what businesses occupied this space before Gunny's. My guess is a lot of different businesses have been here in the past. Inside is a well stocked store with a general store overture. It's full of this and that things. Even a new pool ladder is for sale in here! Basically, the inside is spit into two different usage areas. One side is for convenience items the other for miscellaneous things. Some old places give off historical vibes. This store does big time! I'll be back here the next time I need to feel a sense of history!”
