Today of all days I stopped to get gasoline in my suv at Refuel(122 Spring Street Hamlet NC ).I placed my card in the pump #4 then it locked. I looked at the screen and it was blank. So therefore I could not push a button to do debit nor credit card. I immediately pushed the cancel button to retrieve my card. Well it took several attempts before it released my card. Mind you I never picked up the nozzle to pump any gas whatsoever. My card released and I couldn’t get gas because other pumps were occupied and some had bags meaning out of service. I left to go up the street to another gas station Speedway to get gas and my card was declined twice. When I went on my phone to check to see what the problem was I had a pending charge of $43.31 at Refuel in Hamlet where I just left from. I called the store while on the way back and they told me it wasn’t their fault. My bank locked my card bc I was trying to get that amount of gas. I showed her that it was a pending charge that was already being processed. She shrugged her shoulders and said I had to call the bank. Well I did and my bank said I was charged that amount of money to my card. So now it’s being disputed. I say “Fix your pumps, check your cameras and stop getting over on hard working people. I won’t stop back there again. I will walk to the next gas station before getting scammed at. I’m just not gonna waist my time

Always 2 or 3 pumps broken and not marked, bad fuel, bad service. Shell get your stuff together. This community deserves a decent business, not another failed gas station selling old food.

I have been a loyal customer for 15+ years. Lately I have noticed it takes forever to get gas. I timed it today and it took 13 minutes to pump 10.2 gallons. I was going to fill up but just couldn't stand there any longer.

One stall of a 2 stall bathroom clogged and the employees just locked the door and left it. Smell so bad just walked out.

Sorry wrong store.. I actually live in Hamlet and I always go right pass Shell Station in Hamlet.. You have very poor service and way over priced,like you serving food on silver platers..Some of your employees don't even care bout the costumer time.. They just pretend not to see you and take there sweet time.. Sad

Love the employees. Awesome store, but be careful in the late hours of the night.

Customer service is not real great. Store needs better management. Went for chicken one time, got charged $3 more than I was told it cost. Another time, went for coffee creamer and smokes. No creamer on shelf or in dairy cooler, employee didn't know how to do mobile coupons and register did not give discounts that were advertised on the sign. Both visits cost me more money I shouldn't have had to pay.

I will say that the cashiers are normally very kind and friendly but the cooks normally seem irritated like they don't want to be there I believe the cook that had serve me one time is no longer there but she got upset with me when I just asked her could I have the Tater wedges on the left side of the pan that she had just dropped because I had wanted them fresh but she continued to grab the other ones so I stopped her and said no ma'am I want the ones you just dropped and she said that I was going to get what she give me so I just walked out but like I said I think she is gone now but the one that's in there now still seems upset or irritated like she doesn't want to be there but I get fuel there on the daily and the cashiers are wonderful so if you're buying something off the rack or getting fuel you're all good but if you're getting something behind the glass don't take it so serious because the cook can easily make you come out your character just a heads up
