High prices. Basic food mart. Very simple gas station not far from the highway.

The store is great. And wonderful staff. For the past three years I intentionally went for the food (was told that the chicken was great and great breakfast sandwiches). So about a 15 minute ride over to Currituck. Yesterday (1/18/25) I went there because I wanted some breakfast sandwiches. I was very disappointed because it appears that the quality has plummeted with price remaining the same. I am not sure what happened. The chicken was processed and burned. I distinctly remember them serving fresh cooked chicken, even for their sandwiches. The bread and biscuits were soggy. Please go back to the way you used to and food products used or change prices. I was VERY disappointed. I understand that food prices are extreme right now. I do appreciate the clerk allowing me to switch one of the sandwiches but the replacement was not good either. Maybe just a difficult day. I will still go for the regular fried chicken if it is still on the menu.

Stopped for gas and a quick bite. Great little store and nice staff. Got the seafood salad which was amazing.

Stopped by to get something to eat. Nothing was out except a hot dog. So I grabbed some chips that were 2 for 4. Got to the counter and they rang up $10. I told them they had a tag showing 2 for 4 and they told me they couldn’t honor it. Maybe you should remove the tags when the discount is over with and not 15 days later after a customer brings it up. Shady business ?

If you like greasy, fattening food. This is the place. But how in the world can the owner(s) price their premium Exxon gas $1.14 more a gallon than regular unleaded? I've lived locally for 20 years, so it's so nice to have a local business that gouges the locals.

This is a good spot to fuel up. The breakfast & lunch offered up caters to the working crowd. The daily lunch specials are awesome. The cashiers are kind and efficient..what more could you ask for?
