“Thrift Store is HUGE!!! I think I came on a off day since I only found 2 things all good though since I had a fun time looking through everything, lady who rang me up was kind!”
“Favorite consignment shop in Alamance County. Well organized, variety of home goods, furniture, antiques, clothes and shoes. Very friendly and accommodating staff.”
“Great place to get all your cleaning and laundry supplies at a great price. They have lots of product at lower prices. Owners and staff are very friendly and ready to help with any questions you may have.”
“Excellent store. Many different items. Large.
Your money spent goes to one of the greatest causes ever.
Friendly people also .
Large parking lot.”
“If you enjoy treasure hunting in little local shops, please visit this great store. Ms. Penny has been there for both of my visits now and has made the experience outstanding. My 9 year old niece loves her and the store, hopefully a new thrifter for life. Thanks y'all.”
“For those into "thrifting" as the young people call it, the Burlington Woman's Club Thrift Shop presents a clean, organized, and gracious shopping experience. Proceeds go to local support of scholarship & abused women's needs. I found several lovely pieces to add to my wardrobe. A really nice experience.”
“Staff is kind and helpful! Especially the person that rang me out :) my receipt says their name was Picka! Haven't been to a goodwill that was as pleasant and fair priced as this one in a long time. Very organized! They inspect items before putting them on the shelves which is nice as ive seen a lot of thrift stores throw damaged unusable/non-repairable items on display, so I appreciate that they care. Very happy with my finds and I will be returning! :) Thank you!”
“I visited Redefined and picked up a few super cute items — one of them being a pair of camouflage OluKai slip-on shoes. When I got back home to Ohio, I realized I had two right shoes and no left shoe! (Apparently, I was only meant to walk in circles ?).
I called the store and left a message after hours, fully expecting not to hear back until later in the week. To my surprise, the very next day I received a call from Everleigh, who was more than apologetic and promised that finding my missing left shoe would be her top priority.
Sure enough, first thing the next morning she texted me a photo of the lost shoe in hand with an excited “?? Guess what I found!” message. She took my address to ship it right out, and when I asked how to return my extra right shoe, she told me their manager would include a return envelope — no shipping charges for me on either end.
In a day and age when true customer service is rare, Redefined absolutely shines. They were warm, engaging, and kind when I visited, and their follow-up went above and beyond. Everleigh told me their store is built on relationships and making friends — and they’ve definitely made a friend out of me. Next time I’m in town, I’ll be walking (with both shoes this time!) straight back to Redefined.”
“I am rating this place based on donating items. The staff was very grateful and helpful. There were men that were staying there that came out and helped to unload items from my truck. I have been to a few places similar, and felt a good spirit around this place. The items had great value to us, and I felt I had found the place that they belonged to do the most good.”
“It’s been some time since I visited but on December 9 I stopped in to look for some pants to work in for my soap studio. Since I was alone that gave me time to look at everything and not rush. I spent a hour in this store. It was clean, smelled fresh and the two wonderful cashiers were awesome. Friendly young lady and man. Usually when I come in here I find nothing for myself but plenty for others but I told myself told was for me. I found Patti LaBelle cookbook for $2.49, shirts and slacks were $4.99, jeans $6.99. I spent $82.01 and was pleased with my visit and items. They were in excellent condition some look new. Now no 5 stars because the home section is a mess and needs better organization or to trash some of that. It was too hard to even search other there. Thank you.”
“There's one cashier in particular who is a sweetheart. She's got brown hair and I love when she's there. However, there is one lady who has light blonde hair, who is not so nice. Thank god I had the nice cashier today. Wish I had asked for her name but she is such a joy. They really need more of a selection, but other than that this location is ok!”
“I was visiting The Door / La Puerta Christian Church next door and noticed the huge thrift store in the same shopping center. Living Free is clean and the prices are very reasonable.”
