They are knowledgeable, compassionate and go above and beyond in caring for our babies. My mom moved here recently and I wouldn't have recommended anywhere else for her babies and she is very pleased as well. They treat your animals as the family members they are!

Pelican's Snoballs
420 N Garnett St, HendersonThos is not an icecream place. It is a whole snow cone experience. My kiddos enjoyed the different colors, flavors and suprise of gummy candy. Small play area in the parking lot that includes, corn hole boards, chalk, and a small kiddie slide. We visited from out of state. Although not what I expected it was a cute little spot.
Only thing I would say is be patient the night we visited there was only one person working the stand. She did it with grace and was pleasant the whole time. Overwhelmed by the line I'm sure, but she just kept moving along.

1243 Brodie Rd, HendersonNot sure how to rate a kill shelter, but I got my six month old puppy from here and I’m very satisfied. The adoption process was not complicated and the staff were wonderful. The shelter did not smell bad like other shelters I had previously experienced.
