This review is only focused on the lack of lighting on the trees and courtyard on mainstreet. You have such and opportunity and responsibility I think to add lights especially around Christmas. All of mainstreet decorates but the bank. Please correct this wrongdoing and be a good neighbor. Lights will enhance your bank and flush out a bad human element that lurks there in the shadows. Thanks

In the past two decades, I've worked with a lot of banks, dozens, a half dozen credit unions, too. I have many stories, all of them true, few as good... I've had personal bankers, individual contacts, blah blah, none so far have lived up to Efren over at this branch in downtown Hendersonville. If you're a small business looking for a personal banker, Efren returns calls promptly and even replies to emails, highly recommended.

I signed up for a free checking account back in September. January 14, 2021 i got a $12 calculate set up or something like that charge. This is the first tine I've gotten that charge and they tell me (when i call them about this charge; after having my debit card hack 3 times since importing the account) that it's a service fee... well when i signed up i wad under them impression that i was signing up for a free checking. Then they tell me I'm on a select checking account which required you to have $1500 a month or a "DIRECT DEFROST" of at least $250 a week set up or you're charged $12. Well first off like i said, i signed up for a free account (at the main office off church street) now i have bilateral calcaneal fractures (both feet are broke) i get $262.51 deposited every Wednesday and have been since i opened the account and my worker's compensation uses ZELLE to do this(which First Citizens Bank offers this to direct deposit my money from the workers comp into my checking) now in my mind if I'm having my employer send me my money electronically (because you know we live in an electronic time) that is "DIRECT DEPOSIT" well guess what? That's not the case. Even though the bank has special buttons set up and advertise it, as well as my workers comp claim; it's not considered "Direct deposit" they have my account all messed up now!!! Why would i sign up for an account that had a minimal balance requirement of $1500 when right now I'm only getting $1000 a month?????? These people are out to take the poor man's money!!!!!! Go some where else!!!!
