Heirloom Apples at Freeman Orchards is the best orchard along Apple Alley and a recent Best in Show winner. It offers the largest and most amazing variety of apples, including many heirloom types like the Roxbury Robust. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, with lovely owners sharing fun facts. The orchard provides delicious apples for tastings and baskets with descriptions, all at the best prices. It is highly recommended and a place visitors absolutely love and plan to return to.
I’ve been coming here for the past three years. They are generous with the samples and sell other local produce as well, including cured meats. My favorite place to buy heirloom apples.

We absolutely love this place. The staff here are super friendly and I believe I got the opportunity to speak with the owner as well. All around great people and delicious apples. They have a type called Roxbury Robust (I might have mispronounced) but it’s a must try! I simply can’t wait to come back.
