“My car suddenly stopped working and shut off on the side of River Road. I called AAA FOUR times and they kept cancelling the job and didn’t show up. So we rolled the car back to our house. A neighbor recommended calling Keith Lane at Lake Gaston Car Care. Within an hour of calling Keith, he was on his way with a trailer to tow our car to his garage. He had the problem diagnosed and fixed in the same day for a very fair price. Keith also noticed that the A/C wasn’t working correctly (it would only blow out 80 degree air). I didn’t think it could be fixed but Keith got it working again for a very reasonable price, blowing out 60 degree air. Keith Lane kept us updated via text. He knew we were in a bind so he fixed up the car within a day, even said he would come in on his day off if he wasn’t able to finish by our time crunch. I highly recommend Keith and his company. He is an honest repairman with great communication and prices.”

“I never do reviews but have to here... On vacation with family and 2 days before having to get home, damaged the radiator in my SUV and needed quick fix to get home. Called several places and no luck, them called and spoke with Keith and was relieved as soon as we started talking. He offered to come tow my vehicle to his shop and order a radiator. He ran into some issues due to damage I caused, but was doing everything to get us back in operation. On a Friday, the day we checked out, I had no vehicle, Keith let me use HIS PERSONAL TRUCK, with no questions asked. On top of that, if they couldn't get it done, he offered for my family to stay in his RV out front. Who does that for someone they just talked to on the phone??? We used his truck, he kept me posted on progress, and his tech Randy stayed late on a Friday and got the job done!!! Thanks Randy! And thanks Keith for going WAY over and above. I really have no words to express my appreciation and how much I recommend Keith and auto Lane. Top it off, the invoice was less than I expected it to be. 10 ⭐'s!!”

Being an out-of-towner with no tools, hours from home, with serious concerns the car would overheat, this fortuitous stop has made a lasting impression. Co-owner Morgan and staff members, Bill, Jim, Stacy, and Ben stopped operations for several hours to troubleshoot, research, and reinstall this unique part. During my wait, I got to learn about their business operation, meet other members of the team, and was treated to an impromptu tour of their exceptional facility. Remarkably, this genuine act of kindness had nothing to do with making money but only to ensure this grateful old man had a safe journey home. Now that’s a hell of a business model.”
