Celeste is the best! I had been dealing with AVIS issues all day, and she far exceeded my expectations. My day started with a junk rental from the airport that had mechanical problems, forcing me to call roadside assistance. They sent me all over before finally directing me to Celeste.
The catch? They sent me a link to swap vehicles but accidentally canceled my reservation. When I arrived, I had to start a completely new one. To make matters worse, my global employer’s travel department sent the reservation to the wrong AVIS location.
Celeste jumped on the phone, got it fixed immediately, and made sure I left with a top-notch vehicle. She turned a frustrating day into a great ending. Thank you, Celeste!

Tried to return a car and the lady left us sitting there for over an hour! She just clocked out and left for the day without telling us! Called someone about it and they said oh she’s there. Just keep waiting. She never came back. When we talked to someone finally when returning the car the next day there was no sorry or let me try to make it up to you. Awful customer service. I literally tell anyone who needs to a rent a car to not go to this place. Ever!

Celeste was an absolute pleasure to deal with all 4 times I was there. The system was running slow and she was working overtime to make sure I got the rental on time. This experience was a 10 out of 10 and I wish I could rent from this location and staff everytime I rented. Highly recommended! Thank you Avis/budget and Celeste for making our rental experience AMAZING!

Lazy incompetent unhelpful staff . Only reason I even used them was they were the only ones in town who still hard cars for rent ( I know why that is now ) highly recommend you use any other option than this company . This branch in particular! lol

Girl at the desk made us wait while she talked on her phone then had us wait while she went to get her something to drink. Customer service needs massive improvement

In the reservation I made online for a rental I added on an additional driver (my daughter) which is an additional fee per day! However, when I arrived to pickup the rental the additional driver wasn't ALLOWED to be added on because she is 24 and not 25. If your additional driver has to 25 then that should be stated on your website and online booking should not be available for that. Also, the man at the counter was rude to us! Stated thats not going to work and through my cards on the counter. Terrible customer service.

If I could give zero stars I would.
I put in my reservation for a Vehicle three days ago received three Different confirmation confirmations that my reservation was still as planned. I paid for an Uber to go there which was not cheap and as soon as I walked up to the desk, she said that they didn’t have a single car on the lot and that there was nothing she could do. Then proceeded to start talking to a different customer. I was absolutely furious why I was not contacted then the excuse that the so-called manager or owner emailed me from a personal account yesterday but I checked everywhere in my email never received an email from anybody telling me my reservation was canceled. In fact I received the other emails that it was confirmed. And also, I had a phone number on file. Why did I never receive a phone call?!? Never rent from this place unless you want to be SOL.

Hi. Just wanted to give a heads up if you decide to rent a car. For your own peace of mind ,DO NOT RESERVE A VEHICLE WITH AVIS MOORESVILLE OR HICKORY. You make a reservation with them , they do not honor it, and treat you in a rude fashion to top it off . Imagine getting dropped off at their location to pick up the car ;you are headed towards the airport and they have nothing for you. (Or so they say), and then getting treated like you are worthless, and then not having anyone to contact to resolve your dilema. Avis costumer service has no power to help ,and Avis Corporate does not pick up the phone.
Its time to show these companies that do not honor their contracts that we will not tolerate this behavior. We might need them once in a while,but they need us all the time to survive.
DON'T SPONSOR A RENTAL COMPANY THAT DOES NOT HONOR THEIR RESERVATIONS!

No drop box and open 3 hours on Sunday. Make sure you work around their schedule because they certainly can’t work around yours
