My first actually good banking experience. The Truist in Conover was awful and the people were straight up mean. Here, everyone was very nice. I came here after my bank account got hacked and Fonda handled it perfectly. I will definitely come back!!

If I could give 0 stars I would..Went in with a check from my employer instead of Phoebe verifying it she accused me of writing it myself...how do you still have a job the way you carried on..she slandered my character in front of a lot of people..no management on site..the same way you tried to.embarass me is the same way you need to apologize....went to another location and had no problem....will never step foot in here again!!! Went to this location to open a checking account because their online site cannot verify identity. There were 3 bankers available (place was empty). However, we were told ONLY their Manager is allowed to open new accounts for Suntrust and that we would have to wait about one hour because she was too busy with a call. Ridiculous!!!

I love Suntrust as a bank. I have been with them since I've had a bank account at 18.....but their online access is spotty. It can be very frustrating in a busy world to try to go online with them. I really wish they could get it together!

My Mother has trusted Sun Bank to steer her in the right direction for many years. The employees are courteous, kind and extremely helpful. She is now 88 yrs old and almost deaf. When she requests service, she sends along a note to help her. They immediately jump into action and most know she reads lips, so that speak slowly and plainly to her. It makes her day. She’s never had a lot of money, in fact she lives on Social Security only. They make her feel like millions. I’m surprised to see so many negative reviews here. My experience here was very professional, clean cut and direct to the point. Fonda helped me in opening a account here. She took the time to explain everything to me promptly and helped me choose the option that would work best for me and my current situation. I would recommend anyone and everyone to her. Halfway through our meeting a gentleman came and interrupted and she let him know that was not ok and apologized to me. She treated me with the upmost respect and I appreciated that. Thanks Fonda!

I called and was told they didn't make appointments, after waiting 45 minutes someone with an appointment that supposedly couldn't be made got helped before me after being here 5 minutes, won't visit this branch again

These people don't take your privacy seriously! Very pathetic! After contacting the bank about an issue of confidentiality compromise and speaking with several people they justify and defend their own and don't care about the customer. So feel free to use them at your own risk...

I open my regular bank account with bbt 3 months ago. The guy name spencer, he not asking me or telling me anything he open me a lead account for my regular banking accounts. And they charging me $30 each month every month. I call them up and told them ,I did not sign up for no lead account. They told me in order for me to not paid them $30 I need to put at least over 25k in it all time in order to waive $30_maintenance fees. What the hell??? Who would want to open a regular account and put over $25k in it at all time ?? BS business.. I will close all my account with them including my business account.
