Probably one of the sorriest ran funeral homes I have had an experience with. They posted an obituary that was nothing more than a lie. I have the criminal background reports and the full court case files to prove this. They left the obit up even though is was slander and were informed as such and then a comment left exposing the truth suddenly can’t be seen 🤯 honestly if you want a malicious funeral ordeal and sketchy obits with disappearing comments this is your place. I will edit this for the moment and say the disappearing comment has now reappeared!!!!! What the heck is going on with this place?!?!?!?

Gosh I don’t really know where to start... We lost our Sweet Mom /Mother-In-Law a week ago this past Saturday 10/3/2020. I don’t think you can ever prepare yourself for such a loss. She was the Rock of the Family and the one that was always in control of Everything! So with that being said we were totally lost what to do! When we first approach Catawba Memorial Park & Catawba Memorial Funeral Home we had no clue where to start... how do you prepare for something like this when they’re still alive? When we made our final decision to use this company Katy Barham Lail and the Entire Staff took over and we absolutely did not have to do anything! We were able to grieve and be with our Family and know things were being taken care of!
Thank you so much for providing your Chapel for her funeral which was Absolutely Beautiful...  The catering we chose was Absolutely Delicious and the Gravesite Service was perfect! I have to say Maw Pat would be Very Proud!

Both sets of my grandparents are buried at this cemetery. Also two aunts and Three uncles.I live in Virginia. When I come back home to North Carolina I visit their graves and have taken flowers to put there. Once when I was there there was a problem with one of the flower vases. I could not get it out. I went to the office and asked Katy Lail if someone could help me. Johnny Forbes came down and got down on hands and knees (it had started to rain) and fixed the vase for me. He also cleaned off my grandparents marker He was not asked to do that. The respect that Mr Forbes showed me was inspiring. He was so very nice.This cemetery is one of the prettiest and well kept that I have ever seen and the staff is friendly helpful and courteous.Visit Virginia and look at these here if you do not believe me.Thank you at Catawba for taking such good respectful care of my loved ones.
