My mechanic referred me to Chavez Auto for some autobody work and I'm so glad they did. Chuy, his brother, and the rest of the team at Chavez Auto did an excellent job repairing my vehicle and did so at an affordable rate. I highly recommend Chavez Auto!!

Highly recommend this shop.
All other insurance based body shops quoted huge amounts to fix the rear bumper on a 8 year old civic.
Chavez fixed it for a fraction of that.
You can't beat the price.
Fixed within two days.
No wonder why our car insurance costs keep going high because of some body shops charging enormous price to insurance companies and those insurance companies increasing our premiums regardless of fault.

If I could give more than five stars I would. Someone hit my Tacoma in the snow and all of the shops around Boone were backed up and would barely give me the time of day. Insurance was moving toward totaling my truck because of the wait and rental time. A family friend recommended Chavez Auto so I gave them a call. I talked to Chuy and told him what was going on and he told me to bring my truck right down so he could look at it. He got me right in and had my truck fixed in less than two weeks. I couldn’t believe it. My truck looks brand new and Chuy made every step of the process effortless on my end. We need more businesses like this one. Good old-fashioned hard work and they made me feel like my truck and situation were important to them. Hopefully I won’t have a need for any more body work but if I do, I will be driving back to Hickory. Thank you Chuy and team.

I have to brag on CHAVEZ AUTO-BODY, located in hickory! (If they had a facebook page I would tag them.) After my car was wrecked I was devastated I took it to a body shop and was told the parts were too much compared to how much my vehicle was worth and my insurance company was trying to total my car, that is not the answer I wanted, I was recommended to take it to CHAVEZ, I had my car moved there and day 1 the owner sat down with me, we ran numbers, we looked up parts, he looked at me & said “WE WILL HELP YOU OUT”
He & his team went above & beyond!!
He was honest with me, he kept me up to date, he worked quickly and definitely out did my expectations. He knew I had three kids and only one vehicle, he knew I would be upside down on my loan if they totaled my vehicle, and HE CARED. I am impressed with his work, his knowledge, his honesty, his customer care & over all compassion. If you ever need auto-body repair, I absolutely recommend!! My car looks amazing!!!! I hope I never find myself in this position again, but if i do, i know where i’ll go! I also know I’ll send anyone I know his way!!

Chuy is the best in town, definitely goes beyond n out of his way to get things done for his costumers. Quality work with an honest price and Amazing work environment, been coming to this man for 7 years I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.
