Everyone was so friendly at Cloninger Ford. We came to buy a used van for our business. Jon Preston gave us great service and even did a lot of the paperwork when we went out for tacos, so the whole process went faster! The staff was welcoming and sweet to our 2-year old as well, especially Frida Jimenez! Her bright smile and sunny attitude made our time at the dealer feel like home.

Franklin did a great job. Was very helpful and kind to my family.Edited 2 days after. I maintain that Franklin did a great job. However the car got a check engine light on the drive home. I understand I bought a higher mileage used vehicle and if it had happened after a week or so then that'd be alright.Test drive was perfect. However, less than 30 minutes after driving off the lot with a rather serious code seems shady to me. Contacted the dealership and was told they would call back. Called back several hours later and was put on hold for over 10 minutes. Not great.Final edit. They made it right. Towed vehicle and fixed. Very appreciated, went above and beyond.

I sent a message to Cloninger Ford regarding an SUV I was interested in purchasing and within a very short time was contacted by Ty. He was very professional and set up an appointment for me to come view and test drive the SUV. He was warm, professional, and knowledgeable about Ford’s vehicles. He made the process of purchasing a new vehicle and trading in my old Ford as easy as possible. I will continue to use Cloninger Ford for my vehicle needs and greatly appreciate everything Ty did for me.

I had a great experience at Cloninger Ford of Hickory. The salesman Dewey Day was courteous, helpful and very knowledgeable about the Ford Escape that my husband and I purchased. Dewey is top notch and if you’re in the market for a new vehicle you should definitely give him a call!

I was on the market for a Bronco and knew exactly what I wanted, so I visited many dealerships and dealt with various salesmen. None of them treated me the way Jon Killion did at Cloninger Ford of Hickory. Jon was attentive and direct, speaking to both myself and my husband. I felt heard on my needs and never felt pushed or pressured. He took his time explaining everything to me and made both of us feel comfortable. I felt I got a very fair deal and amazing value. I absolutely love my Bronco. I’d recommend this dealership if you are looking for great value and quality customer service!!

We would like to thank Franklyn for all he did to make buying our 2024 super duty. He was very helpful and helpful. He would answer any question we had. I can't remember the finance manager that took care of us but I do want to really thank him for explaining everything to us so we could understand what we were doing. It was a great experience

The people they have working at the parts department are rude. I never minded them been rude but my wife swung by to pick up a part for me and they couldn’t take two seconds to look for a part I had already ordered and paid for, before giving her lip and calling her a liar saying nothing I had ordered was there and none had ordered anything under my name didn’t even bother to check. After arguing for a while they took two seconds to go check and surprise surprise my part was there.

2nd 1 star review cause I had to delete my first 5 star review now. They sold me a car with bad piston rings. Cant even pass inspection before 3 months of owning the thing. On top of them screwing up the address on my registration twice even after confirming multiple tomes. Malyk said he would help and has been neglectful on nearly every account. All around neglectful and I wish I took my business to Armstrong down the road. Attorney already prepping things because there are ways out of the "as is" clause that dealerships like to give you. I shoulda kept the beat up mustang that they gave me less than 3gs for. That would have lasted longer than the car they sold me per a mechanic. To sum it up; they are way too comfortable with doing bad business, turns out I had it better in Charlotte of all places.They really managed to sell me a Jetta that is proving to be more costly than a MUSTANGEdit: called like they asked me to, was told Id get a call back but there has been no follow throughEdit: They have valued the car 10k less than they sold it to me, while I have it in better condition that they sold it to me in. Here we go, to be continued...Obviously weren't gonna claim responsibility, and have been unwilling to give me a fair trade.Hell of a way to start my career in the civilian world

Bought a 2011 Ford edge last week. Drove it once and the check engine light came on as well as the gas tank light. I called the guy that sold me the car he stated he would get the sales manager to call. Nobody called. The next day called and spoke with the sales manager and service manager both said they were sorry for what happened to me. Called back spoke with the general manager he stated that he would look into it. Nobody from this dealership has called me back. I live on social security and needed a car not for someone to screw over elderly people living on social security. Stay away from this dealership. Buyers beware. Haven't made the first payment on it and it's probably going to cost thousands of dollars that I don't have. Unreal how you get treated. I'm writing this for David Bruce.

I bought an expensive vehicle, we agreed to price that included decals, warranty and the vehicle. After agreeing with the salesperson they dropped the warranty from the agreement but noting it was still part of the agreed price. The finance manager noted it was not. This lack of integrity cost me extra. The experience felt like it was planned to get more price out of the vehicle. I will likely not revisit this dealership.

I have waited to write this review for a few weeks. I came in on 7/3 to look at a 2019 Ford Edge. First time I have stepped into a dealership alone without any one to help me decide on the best vehicle, HUGE mistake on my part. I purchased this edge, 2 days after I could tell there was an issue with the brakes. My fiance looks at them, it was metal to metal. Brought it back had that fixed, everything seemed okay. The day after I was driving to work & someone pulled out in front of me. I of course attempted to blow the horn at them, the horn did not work. Crazy right? I took it back once again & had this issue fixed as well. Soon after getting it back I could hear rattling in the passenger seat/ passenger door. That seemed to progressively get worse the faster I drove. My gut feeling told me this car had been severely wrecked but I could not find it on the car fax report. I looked it over with my fiance & we noticed the passenger side door was actually a different color from the rest of the car in the sunlight. By Monday 7/17 I had made the decision to take this car back, the rattling was so bad it sounded like a popcorn machine in the passenger side as a drove it back to Hickory. Once we arrived we asked to speak to a manager regarding all of this. Of course it had been 72 hours so I could not "return" the vehicle, but could trade it in. My only option was to get into a bigger car payment to avoid getting sold something like this Ford Edge. We later found out the ford edge had been wrecked, on the passenger side. Thankfully I did get a car we are super happy with, but we should have never had to go through what we did to get that. Our whole experience here gets 1 Star. But Jonathan who is in the service department gets 5 Stars! He is one of the only people there I want to deal with.
