This week makes three months as an gaines express driver and I can genuinely say that, from day one I've been treated with the utmost respect and accommodated as well as they can accommodate me, from orientation to day to day loads. I did my first six months of trucking at a mega carrier and it's like night and day as far as communication and pay is concerned. They also have an office person who is a Rockstar and will do anything she can to help drivers.

We just got run off I-85 in Atlanta by a Gaines Express truck. The driver didn’t look or see us as he merged into our lane. As we were being pushed off the road we honked to get his attention and he flipped us the bird! It’s unfortunate this company has no regard for safety and has dangerous drivers on the road. I want to say as far as Gaines Express is concerned and was employed, that I started off with issues I had to face, first I was hired as a local driver, but was sent home on numerous occasions because there were no loads for local drivers. Then I signed documents stating I would be paid a certain amount per day and week, yet if there was little work for local drivers, then I wouldn't get paid nothing!! Even when I was supposed to get paid for required tarping and chaining, I never got paid for that either.I was exhausted one day after I had dropped some loads that were opened to drop, yet I texted the owner/safety and told him that I thought it was unsafe to take the load, yet his response was to take the load anyway, which could've endangered my life and others lives as well. I'm very delayed at the unprofessional manner of this company.. and I have all the EVIDENCE TO PROOF EVERYTHING I SPEAK...

Truck 44 just hit my car and ran. Cut us off, then flies up behind us and smash right into the truck. Wife had to be ambulanced to a hospital and the driver justkeptgoing after flipping us off. What a great company this is. NOT!!!

Had a few people asking me about this company so I decided to leave a review. If you love flat bedding and the east coast then this is definitely the company for you. Many companies say they will treat you like family and I can actually say that they do. It actually feels like a trucking family. The communication is also top notch so I didn’t have to wait long at all to get in contact when I needed help. The pay is good and you’ll get your miles. Plus they gave me another chance despite my driving record a lot of companies wouldn’t hire me for. The main reason I left is because although I love flatbeding….. I absolutely hate the east coast with a passion. The other reason is to drive for my sister to support her cargo van business who’s leased on to a company who despite says they go west, I left ….because the pay sucked and they kept me east!!!!!!. So I’m stuck in the east in the pursuit of going west lol.

I have worked for Gaines Express LLC for almost 2 years. This company does not have a revolving door. Our drivers are treated with respect and are paid extremely well!! We are a family oriented logistics flatbed trucking company. We have drivers that have been with us for over 10 years and are extremely happy. The owner makes sure that they get the home time they requested and deserve. Any previous negative review it's just from a disgruntled employee that didn't get his way as far as his pay straight out of trucking school!!!!!! Our drivers sacrifice a lot of time away from their family so it's imperative that we support not only the drivers but their families!! If you have looking for a "HOME" please consider Gaines Express LLC.
