HobbyTown is a locally owned toy and hobby shop in Hickory. It is considered the best in the broader area. The store offers a great variety and plenty of choices, including trains, toys, plush, games, S.T.E.A.M. items, puzzles, models and supplies, rockets, and R/C vehicles for land, air, and water, plus drones and race cars. It features a great selection of unique stuff and is a big and clean store. Some customers note the selection of parts and accessories has decreased compared to the past. The staff is consistently described as helpful, nice, kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. They can order specific items if needed. The store is highly recommended for an alternative gift or to start a new hobby.
