The staff is always friendly. I've been going to this Hot Topic for at least 10+ years. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I do a lot of in store pick ups, so my transactions can be a little more tedious than the average customers. I've always had good service, from friendly sales reps. The managers have changed over the years, but the customer service culture has stayed the same.

I'm shadow banned and can't purchase anything online. I've tried using my cell phone and desktop. I wanted to buy a backpack for my birthday + Christmas and I can't do that without assistance from a manager so... I don't like walking into this particular store anymore, unless I'm picking something up. I prefer shopping online. I've been shadow banned for over a year! I just stopped buying from this place.
