THE WORST company to deal with ever! I retailed this product and they held my orders hostage until I paid them MORE MONEY after waiting 10 months for several of my clients goods. Little to no communication until I got ugly with them! And then they would tell lie after lie. And this after I spent thousands with them monthly for several years! The owner would not communicate at all. Unprofessional. I highly recommend their competition...and there is plenty. King Hickory will not be around much longer considering how they run their business, so I suggest you deal with a company that can stand behind their product. Take a look at all of the poor quality reviews. Absolutely the worst upholstery company.

Absolutely disgusted with the quality of king hickory. We ordered a sofa that arrived with multiple issues. Warped frame, squeezing in 2 locations, loose fabric, bunched cushions, nail hanging out, feet that weren’t level. Sent the sofa back and it was returned with a new hole, and the frame is still. It correct. They declined to discount the sofa. $4000….no way! You should see the list of repairs that had to be completed in a brand new sofa!

King Hickory is one of the great American companies. As a dealer we have many brands & there are some that I wouldn't really say a lot of positive about. However, King Hickory Furniture is one I whole heartedly recommend. The construction is first rate with legitimate 8 way hand tied springs. I personally own King Hickory and honestly wouldn't have any other brand. The Customer service is second to none. Responsive & honest. 100% recommended!Services: Couches/sofas

An established company still making quality furniture in the USA with American materials and USA-based factories. Old school hardwood, 8-way tied springs for longer life, and quality fabrics and leather. What is there not to like? Would give 10 stars if I could.

I ordered a sofa from Scott Directors in May of 2021 and was told it would be delivered in October...then in December and now in February 2022...maybe 9 months ...I have bought several pieces of furniture from Directors over the years and was told the King Hickory is making my sofa..I mean taking my money and not making my sofa. I screwed up buying from King Hickory...never again.

I ordered a King Hickory sofa from STEINHAFELS in Madison, WI. It has now been pushed back months and months and months. I have been told my sofa will "probably" be completed in mid-to-late September, which would make it about 9 months of a wait. Here's the incredible part...Steinhafels would only cancel my order after they charge me a 30% "restocking fee". Restocking WHAT?? The sofa is clearly not even built yet....so what's the restocking fee for? I'll tell you....it's pure profit for the store, nothing else. Once I get this sofa, I will never purchase or order from Steinhafels again....there are far too many other quality stores within a 50 mile driving radius. Steinhafels charged me 100% of the sofa's cost before they would place an order....so they have ALL my money and I have zero. Their response is "that's our policy". At this point, it's simply a waiting game. Once I have the sofa, I'll more fully explain to the wonderful STEINHAFEL people what MY POLICY is.

I ordered a King Hickory sectional from Steinhafels in Madison Wisc Jan 2021 and was told it would be delivered in April. Then the date pushed to June, then July, then August, and now Sept. How is it possible to miss a targeted completion/delivery date by 5 months.

Bought a King Hickory L-shaped sectional from a local furniture store in Kewanee, IL. Corner cushion was too small. 2 times, the local furniture company (supposedly) had King Hickory make a new cushion to fit the corner better, and twice, it was too small. Furniture company tried to convince me that this is the way the cushion was supposed to fit. LOL! It was never resolved and this is the way my sectional looks currently after 2 times of bringing a new cushion. Don't spend your money on King Hickory, and don't shop in Keywanee, IL.

Ordered a couch from BF Myers in September of 2020. Understanding that COVID-19 would created a delay until December in receiving the order. As of today February 10, 2021 we still have not received the couch. The sad part is that it seems their interest in their customers are not important at all. Had a difficult time in getting a phone call returned but finally did receive a response to my email. This was in January and since no date was known they promised to return a call to me the first of February for a status on delivery date. As of now I have not received that call. I was in business for 46 years before retiring and my customers would not have settle for this type service.

Great quality furniture!! We have bought furniture from lots of stores and manufacturers. I like that king Hickory is still 8 way hand-tied and they match all the seams and patterns to line up perfectly. ALSO still made in the USA!! With a custom furniture manufacturer you have to understand all the different materials will not hold up the same. Read the website and do things like flip cushions and you will get great results from King Hickory. For people that are mad about it taking a long time to get custom furniture remember its 2020 and Covid 19 causing delays in everything. Remember the toilet paper debacle? I have 2 chairs and an ottoman on order now. We want them as of yesterday but are willing to wait for QUALITY USA MADE FURNITURE!!

October 2020 one year review. Brownlee of Georgia staff outstanding service. The brand sofa we picked (King Hickory Savannah). I am a 350 man who is retired and sitting at home every day. The frame and 8 way hand tie is really solid good choice. Needs help (Back cushions too little stuffing, staples hanging out of the bottom of the furniture is a deep cut hazard. Knock in or pull out all sharp staples.

Purchased a sofa. The sales person talked me out of getting the extra firm cushions.(Scheindermans special order)Within 3 months the cushions callapsed.Purchased extra firm cushions from schn-king hickory.Within 3 months they also collapsed.When I changed the insides I found that the extra firm were not the same size or thickness as the original insides.Asked for my money back on the replacements insides. Did not happen.I think the sofa is great but they need a better foam for the cushions.I have ordered new foam aftermarket.Hopefully this will solve my problems.

Bought 2 couches and two power recliners last year. Price was moderate to pricy. Waited 14 weeks for delivery. Furniture is beautiful. Unfortunately, the seat cushions on the recliners compressed after only a few months. We reached out to the manufacturer representative we met at Furniture Land South but he did not respond. Had the cheap foam they used replaced with top quality stuff. The NC furniture industry/quality is just not what it used to be.

Still waiting.......was promised couch and loveseat in 6-8 weeks, then it got moved to 10 weeks. Now it is 13 weeks! Unacceptable. Will not order another piece from King Hickory if this is the best they can do.
