I didn't get his name. But it was my first time coming in. And I really just needed my nails refreshed from a set i got on Monday. It is Friday lol. He did me so right and I put my trust in him doing the ombre and color.. its giving cream sickle. But I love it and its way better than what I had from a previous salon.

This morning I got my previous set removed and a new acrylic set on with just polish, no designs. I was the only one in the salon and felt like everything was extremely rushed. The polish itself was great but the application was bad. When the tips were glued on, the sides kept popping up and more glue was haphazardly added on to all sides after. This left glue caked around my fingers and underneath my natural nails. I noticed only after leaving how uneven the nails were. Underneath, my natural nails were left long and jagged which I’ve never had happen when getting acrylics before and did not think to ask for them to be shorter. Due to this (I assume) there was a large gap between my natural nails and the tips which obviously is a cause for concern about bacteria/potential fungal infections. I went back a few hours later to get them removed and was initially told that they looked good and could be left on. I don’t know if this was because they just didn’t want to deal with it, but I requested to get them removed. After removal, I asked for a refund for just the acrylic set and was told they don’t do refunds.
I’m not one to typically ask for a refund or complain about a service, and if it was just the glue/uneven nails I wouldn’t have said anything. However, since they weren’t applied properly with the big gaps, I felt like it would have been a given to refund.
They did offer to redo them for free, which is something, but I did not want to have my nails done there again. This was my second time going here thinking it would be my new go-to spot, so I’m super disappointed to not be returning.

If you like having thick SNS layer on your nails, this is the place. I mean, real THICK. They can’t apply them on thin. Pricey too. Acrylic set is $45 whereas SNS set costs $60. Fancy Nails in Granite Falls is the best!

The service was great. Everyone was friendly. I haven’t gotten a pedicure in a while so this maybe the going rate now days but for 2 basic pedicures and gel polish with a design on the big toes was $104 and that was with a 15 percent off discount for the Fourth of July sale and didn’t include the tip I added. That’s a little pricey so it will definitely just be a treat every blue moon type thing.
