Getting help from store employees not the best

JUST 1 CHECKOUT LANE STAFFED IN THIS WHOLE GIGANTIC STORE At 2:30 pm on sunday afternoon. Just exactly like the other locations in town. (Plus 2 more in the outside garden center) You can see that the parking lot is pretty full.
And they had run out of brown mulch. Had to get bright red, which is ugly. Also ended up paying $1,500 a piece for 2 gas water heaters installed. Heck . . . you used to be able to get these for $250, just a few years ago. The dishwashers are garbage now . Won't be back much . . . These guys have lost my trust completely.
You have to check yourself out now. The stockholders and executives are trying to milk every penny they can out of this company. To hell with their customers - just exactly like walmart and target. Too bad . . . This used to be the best Home Improvement store 10 years ago . . . Not anymore!
I've switched almost all of my shopping back to Home Depot and Conover Hardware, which are much better staffed, and have much better customer service the last several years. Too bad. But this is the new normal now.

Went to get a piece of glass for my 9-light door. The guy working back there cut it a whole inch longer than the measurements I gave him. I come back to get it trimmed and they don't have anyone working that can cut glass. So I just have $25 of useless panes. Wouldn't refund me either.

You know it’s really sad when a disabled veteran has to get out of the car to prove that I’m purchasing items for him using his physical military ID. I understand why but still ridiculous. The woman that told us this was also very rude. Never had this problem till today and I’ve went in quite a few times over the last few months.

Typical home improvement store. They have just about anything you're gonna need for your home etc. My probably with basically any store I go to is I get stereotyped as soon as I get through the door. I have 2 or 3 people following me through the store, like I'm about to steal em blind. And anyone who knows me know I don't steal. Ever! They need some kind of facial database that store that kind of info, and alerts them of a potential risk when it enters the store. Getting stereotyped, for the bad, is never a good feeling. And there's been many stores lose my business because they treat me this way.

Third time to get a wired shelf cut. Does anybody know how to cut this to size??? I would assume that if your closet size is a certain measure, you would need to cut it smaller to fit on the brackets. Do they need further education??? Much less respond to the alert to have it cut???

Lowe's is getting a little strange with their stocking because you have to kind of figure out which store is closest to you to pick up something but this one's pretty easy to get in and out of right off of 70 and they seem to have a better at least garden section than the one in Viewmont

Lowe's has the things you need for home improvement, construction projects, landscaping, plumbing and etc and it's a great place to shop for the pros and the rest of us.
I like it because they always have a well stocked inventory and you can get what you need today and they have friendly people there to answer questions. Excellent store

I like going to Lowes but really hate checking myself out. The last visit the person the was watching the register's was dusting. Don't you think it would make more sense to utilize that person and put them at a register. I even was going to pay with cash and couldn't because the only registers open were card only. So disappointing! Looks like Ace hardware will be getting more of my business.

I do Home Depot instead.
The people there are friendly and more willing to help when in need. Avoid Lowes if you seek this.
