If you have a car under warranty good. But if you have an older Toyota stay very far away from this place. I had a local mechanic diagnosis a problem but I called Mike Johnson service and was given a lower estimate price for the repair. I arrived at 8:30 and did not leave until 4:30. I was told that the mechanic wanted to be sure it was the same problem before making repairs so I said okay but by the end they wanted me to spend 1,700 on repairs, plural, that they were suggesting I do. I had one specific issue but they went through some process of checking things that I could not afford or wanted. When asked why the diagnostic took so long I was told by the service person it was because they had to take the suspected part apart to check the code. So why did they not just plug the scanner into the port under the dash to see what the code was rather than keep me there all day trying to up the bill. I was told I could use a rental at no charge and was still charged for that so beware if they tell you it is free. Anyway the car is still not fixed but it will be a cold day before I ever go back to this place. I felt totally taken advantage of and the bill was about 200.00 more than I was quoted on the estimate. I am on a fixed income and felt totally taken.

I had moved to NC from Florida with my Toyota sienna that I had bought and my van needed services and I brought it to Mike Johnson's in hickory well we had thought that the services would be covered but we were wrong so after they were done with doing a oil change and a tire rotation it was going to cost $102 and we just didn't have it like I said we thought it would be covered and then a sweet man named Steven watts the service manager said Merry christmas and covered it for us he has no idea what he truly did for us and how much of a blessing that was to us this time of year we literally just paid our car note that day and had no money left over so thank you again so much Steven I will never forget the kindness you showed us that day ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Purchased a One year-old Toyota Corolla. They told me they checked it out before they bought it I have drove 1/4 tank of gas out of the vehicle and already had to bring it back for service two times
So if you buy a car from any dealer have it checked out by your own mechanic.
The dealership has reached out to me on numerous occasions in attempt to remedy the situation. They did not abandoned me after the sale which I find very impressive.
I can’ say this dealership does not forget about you after they made the sale.
Saying that, even though I only gave the dealership a four, I would buy from Mike Johnson again.

Our service advisor Caleigh was amazing. I requested services for my vehicle that I forgot I had already had completed. I appreciate her honesty. She kept us updated every step of the way including when the vehicle was ready, and the technicians recommended actions for service. We really appreciate the excellent customer service and the amazing work the technicians do! We will continue to highly recommend Mike Johnson Toyota!

Great place to buy a vehicle. Friendly staff & reasonable prices. The initial car I was looking at got sold (it happens) but Calvin was very helpful in finding another ride that I ended up liking more! Highly recommend this dealership for a low-stress experience.

Amazing! CALEIGH with the Service Center was simply AMAZING! Not only did she explain throughly each issue that the car had, she made sure all options were covered. So pleasant and concerned for us! She made sure our safety wasn’t compromised. The technician(Lee) she worked with supplied us with an in-depth video that was extremely informative. What a super experience! Truly, because of CALEIGH, our experience was out of this world!

Always a pleasant experience, the staff is always friendly and helpful, the play area they have for kids is a closed room, so if you have to have service while you have your kids, it is easier to entertain them without them running rampant around the entire dealership, and they usually have an open cafe for drinks and snacks if you're hungry while you wait.

I recently had CV axles and wheel bearings replaced on my 1998 Land Cruiser at Mike Johnson Toyota. I was originally quoted 6–7 hours of labor, but after dropping the vehicle off the estimate increased significantly, eventually reaching 13 hours and $2,067 just in labor. I use this vehicle for work and was already paying for a rental, so I felt stuck and went ahead with the repair. The job was completed quickly, but I was disappointed and felt the labor time was excessive compared to what other Toyota service departments told me.
However, the service manager reached out to me afterward, and I truly appreciate how he handled the situation. He was kind, professional, and understanding. We talked through everything, came to a mutual agreement, and he fully remedied the issue.
While the initial experience was frustrating, the service manager’s professionalism and willingness to make things right meant a lot.

This visit was the first time I had Carleigh as our service advisor. Carleigh was EXTREMELY helpful and not pushy in any way. She genuinely is interested in your satisfaction with her customer service. Mike Johnson Toyota is doing a great job attracting/hiring professional personnel.

We bought a Highlander from Mike Johnson’s Toyota 2.5 years ago and use the express service department for maintenance. Randy Quinn is our service agent and we have been very pleased with the service. Randy is knowledgeable , helpful and pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend Toyota vehicles and service!
