The staff is excellent and friendly. They kept me informed about my vehicle status. They even let me know there was a delay in delivery for my oil filter. I recently had knee replacement surgery and walking is still slow and tiring. They made sure I was able to get into my vehicle by parking close and right by the door. Excellent folks on staff there.

Great location. When no other Mr. Tires in the area could get an inspection done, these guys helped me. They didn't give a hard time with any repairs and let me know about things I could expect soon. High professionalism and great information, got me in and out quick!

Got here right when they opened on a Saturday morning. Had a graduation party to attend and they were able to get me in right away. What can I say, this place is wonderful. Excellent service and extremely fast. Highly recommend.

I understand liability, but when a customer has a flat tire and you deny putting air in their tire for "run damage" on brand new tires is just a scam. "the only way we can fix it is with a brand new tire" when the tire is brand new. I offered to sign a waiver and they were still unable to. Lazy people honestly. I would not come here for any tire needs, they sent me down to a gas station to "do it myself" putting me at risk of driving on a flat tire for longer. I was only .3 miles away when I had to drive here with a flat.

Brought my truck in yesterday went there without an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation on my Sierra 1500 took around 45 minutes from the time I got there until I left. They charged me 139.00 which I thought was a bit much. When I got home I realized they did not rotate my tires even though on my receipt they said they did (billed as complimentary so I was not charged for it) after finding that I popped the hood open and there was oil all over the top of the engine. For 139.00 I'd recommend going somewhere else.

Great experience with the blond girl I believe her name was Katie as well as the mechanics who helped me with my troubles. Thank you Mr. Tire for being there. I will definitely be returning to this specific location thanks to the best experience!

My experience with Mr. Tire on South Center St. was very pleasant. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. I've visited several times over the last past 2 months with multiple vehicles and my experience has been the same each time. The pricing was also cheaper than the other shop that use to take my vehicles to.

Do NOT use Mr. Tire Auto Service on South center street. I repeat DO NOT! I had my tires delivered there from Simple Tire (paid for a mount and balance at the time of tire purchase). Called Mr. Tire on Wednesday to verify appt for Saturday at 7:30am as I live OVER 45 minutes away. Yup, everything is confirmed. Show up this morning to be told my appt was rescheduled for 9am even though no one called to tell me this. But okay, come back at 9:30am to find my car hasn’t been touched yet. FIRST clue should have been an empty waiting room on a Saturday at a tire shop. I tell them it was an irresponsible move for no one to call me to tell me of these appointment changes as I have a 2 year old and am over 45 minutes from home so I ask to speak to a manager and was told I can call Monday, which is not helpful considering I already paid for the service. At this point, a man covered with facial tattoos named Chris says that they will not be putting my tires on because of my reaction in an empty waiting room. Sounds like jailbird Chris just didn’t feel like working today. So now I have to try to figure out how to get a refund for a service that wasn’t performed. Save your time, energy and money and go literally anywhere else. Waste of 5 hours on a Saturday.

Do NOT use Mr Tire on South Center St in Hickory. Last year (May 22nd, 2023), we had an alternator go out on my wife's car. We had the vehicle towed there for the repair. 2 days to put an alternator on that only calls for 3 hours time to do job and zero contact from them explaining delays. I had to call when they said it would be ready (but wasn't) several times. That should have been my last time there but we go back again thinking everyone has a bad day every know and then. I called and ask for oil change and tire rotation on my truck. I was told oil change is $73 and tire rotation is included. I said "great, we will come drop it off". Then we dropped my wife's car off for same service when we picked my truck up. 1) I knew they had just marked everything good on checklist because it had tire pressures list at 35psi, I run 50psi in my tires(heavier load).2) Wheels generally have more brake dust on the front wheels than the rear because the front brakes "work" harder. The brake dust was not even disturbed. So there is no way the center caps, lugs, and wheels were removed. I call this morning and ask to speak to the manager, a guy named Chris says he is the assistant manager and could he help. I explained the situation to him andI ask if the oil was changed and he said they do services that are ask for. I said evidently not. He did inform me that "this happens". So no big deal. ABSOLUTELY horrible customer service after you just charged me for a job you didn't perform. I'm glad we didn't have them do the front brake job on my wife's car they SAID we needed! Wonder if we really do or is that another job to tell me you did, and then don't perform. Anyway DO NOT use Mr. Tire, they can not be trusted!

I drove to Hickory from Gastonia on a Saturday. As I arrived my tire light came on on my Pathfinder. I got that 'sick' feeling you get when any light shows on the dash. I pulled out my phone and Googled a tire shop near by. Mr Tire was 3 blocks away.I drove there and the nicest man checked my 4 tire pressures and added some air and that tire light went off! He refused any $$ and the rest of my day in Hickory was awesome.
