Be careful of kia I have had my car since April 8th of 2022 with just over 17000 miles on it and my seats are ripped so be careful they will not cover nothing under warranty so I guess your 3 year 36000 mile don't mean nothing. I have bought 3 cars from kia. Will be taking my business somewhere eles.

I didn't up buying a car from Paramount Kia of Hickory, but I was very close. I specifically worked with Gates Walters who was phenomenal. Super responsive. Easy to work with. No pressure. I just bought a 2024 K5 and the staff at paramount Kia made it a breeze. David (sales) and Ryan (finance) answered every question i could have and made me feel comfortable as a woman buying a car alone. David communicated back and forth with me for two days to make sure I drove off in the vehicle I wanted. I will refer any friend to them! Thank you again Paramount Kia for everything.

The service department at paramount Kia of Hickory is completely incompetent! They are un-professional, tell you false information, and then once your car is ready you get in and immediately have another diagnostic, when they supposedly "finished" the job two days prior. Don't ever take your Kia here to be serviced, they will waste your time and you will be disappointed! Maybe they will learn from their mistakes but it's not likely.

When we purchased our 2016 Kia Sedona from Paramount, they were absolutely great to deal with. I would have given them five stars no doubt, but they were trying to sell a vehicle so of course they were great,,,, fast forward to a month ago we take her Sedona in for some factory software recalls And neither one of the sliding doors will securely latch when it’s above 80° they’ve been repaired before so they are considered to have a lifetime warranty. I take the van in and six hours later they text me with a list of repairs that need to be done front brakes and rotors back brakes And the tail light lenses, which are getting water in them. They want $1200 to replace the front rotors and front and back brakes and an astonishing $719 to replace the tail light lenses. I can buy those for $200-$230 from Amazon. It takes literally five minutes a lens with a manual Phillips screwdriver, they wanted over $500 for labor to do a job I could do in 10 minutes. I know if I can buy them for $200 they can get them for less than that so I was told almost $2000 they wanted for things that I did not even take the van in for. Next they tell me they don’t even have the motors and I’ll have to bring it back and leave it for a whole day again. So my wife and I have to drive two vehicles to Hickory again and leave the van for an 845 appointment. They tell me it will take about 2 1/2 hours at around 11 they call and say there have been delays. it’ll be 3 PM at 4:30. Still no call so I go back there and go inside. They made me wait until about 530 before I could pick up my vehicle. I had already expressed my unhappiness, a couple of times on how poorly their service department had handled things I could easily add another 500 words of negativities into this review. My wife and I both 100% believe we were made to wait all day out of spite. As of right now my opinion is if you need to buy a Kia do not waste your time at Paramount drive all the way to Huntersville or to another dealership who may actually care about customers and service after the sale, that way we would be returning customers!! Seem if you are buying = great service, you are a priority…. need your current vehicle fixed = not so much. We were looking at buying a brand new vehicle from them, probably not now. Was really looking to get a new Kia carnival.09-21-23 I will see if I get a call about this.UPDATE: My driver side door has broken again after only 10 days. Now there is a cable hanging out the side almost touching the ground. I have another appointment for repair now.ALSO: I will give adviser Brent Hood AAA++++ 5 star review if I could, he and another advisor, I think who was Wilson, are excellent AAA-+++ to him as well, I will update a correction on his name next week.

Worst dealership in NC. Went in wanting a Kia Carnival. Salesmen was David and he acted like he didn’t even know what options were available on the vehicle. They then talked me into ordering one and told me 4-8 weeks until it got here. Gave them $1000 dollars for them to place the order. We waited 7 weeks and I was told that the car hasn’t even generated a VIN number and this now could be an 6-8 month thing. Every time I called, I was treated like I was a nuisance. Andy the new car sales manager was a jerk and acted like he didn’t even care what was going on. They ran my credit without approval when I was told over 10 times that my credit wasn’t going to be ran. We didn’t sign a single thing to give permission to run our credit but they did it anyway. I asked them about it and of course, “we are not showing that we ran your credit”. It all worked in the end because the Kia dealership in Asheville had exactly what we wanted and treated us like they cared about our business. We will never go back to the Hickory dealership and I will spread the word to anybody I know to never go.

Stopped by Saturday 8/26 to look at new car. Well we meet our sales person Gates Walter..He is without a doubt the best sales person I have ever had the pleasute of working with. He has the best friend attitude in showing us a car. He wasn't pushy, extremely knowledgea and showed us our best choice.. we spent 4 very enjoyable hours and drove home with a 2024 Kia Sportage LXS. This way my best purchase I ever experienced. This is my go to car dealer for buying or service.
