Went to go pawn something the employee put the wrong name on the paper even though I gave her my license. So when I went to pick them the owner or manger said I'll have to wait and even said she wouldn't charge extra. We'll that was a lie tried to charge me triple. Never will recommend

The Advertising on the store itself says cash for anything of value.
Too bad they don’t take actually take “anything of value” seems like false advertising to me, but maybe they’re just scummy and put it in tiny text on the bottom of the poster who knows.
Would give zero if I could

After all day of extremely rude customer service at different pawnshops, The gentleman who answered the phone at this pawnshop was extremely caring and listening to what I was saying. He provided a way that I could solve the problem. All it takes is two minutes to make the custom experience completely different. And this pawnshop knows how to do that.

I go into this store quite often. When I do go I make sure to see either Angie or Brandon. THEY ARE THE BEST AT WHAT THEY DO! When we go in and see the blonde headed woman working and one of the others is busy, we wait for someone else to help us. The blonde head doesn't know a whole lot and always as to ask Angie or Brandon questions about a sale or product. When we want to look at something behind the counter she turns the other way. But when you want to look at some jewelry she runs to try and help. Plus, she is always rude and hateful. When picking up something out of pawn. Check it and make sure it is yours. She tried giving another customer someone else's merchandise when I was in the store one day. And she laughed about it. In my opinion she is not very professional. How are you gonna just laugh when you just tried giving someone somebody else's things. Oh, did I mention that it was a firearm that this happened with. She needs to pay more attention to what she is doing when someone is trying to pick up their belongings.

I visited this store on Saturday May 4th with the intention to just browse. After walking around for a few minutes, I approached the counter to ask for help at the jewelry counter. I stood for a minute while this employee finished texting or possibly scrolling Facebook. An older woman working with another customer apologized and said that she would be right with me. I ended up waiting for her because she seemed to care that I was there. She also noticed that I walked in and greeted me. And very polity said to please let us know if I needed any help. She was in fact, the only one that did that. The man that works there also acknowledged me, but looked like he had his hands full with another customer. I also work in customer service, and I understand that it isn’t the easiest of jobs, but I can at least ACT like I want to be there. She could definitely benefit from a few classes on Customer Service. I’m not sure of her name though. She didn’t seem to care that I was there. Veronica was incredibly nice.

Charged me more for a item I wanted than the sticker price said she made a mistake but they had time to correct that mistake because it was marked that price for over a week and then my receipt says something totally different then what I got I just left but the way I was treated got me feeling some type of way......

Called last week to get a quote on an item I was trying to sell and was placed on hold for over ten minutes. Never heard back from anyone and was eventually hung up on. After driving there, I saw that the place was conveniently closed. The store hours indicated that they wouldn't close for another fifteen minutes.What a waste of time and very unprofessional. If this is how you treat potential customers, I'd hate to see how you treat those who you actually do business with..

Love this place and the staff here are very attentive. The manager there is always friendly and reasonable with offers. I would recommend going to this place before any other pawn shop in Hickory. They even stay open on week days until 6pm which is pretty nice. 10 out 10
