Purchased a three cushion sofa in 2019 made by Sherrill furniture company from a vendor in Pasadena, CA. The sofa started squeaking in multiple places every time we sat on it in December 2023, four years later. We have two other sofa's in our home that are more than 15 years old and they do not make any noises when someone sits on either of them. We don't know what to make of this. We contacted the vendor multiple times who tried their best to correct the problem, but everything they tried did not resolve the issue. The vendor said when they inspected it, they could not find anything wrong with it. Hum... The vendor did mention that shipping it to Sherrill's manufacturing company would cost thousands of dollars. So, we decided that Sherrill furniture does not honor their warranty. From our experience, their furniture only looks good, but the inside is poorly manufactured. Its strange because they pride themselves on their furniture pieces being individually made. Actions speak louder than words.

I purchased 1 Sherill sofa and 2 chairs at Charles Ray in Atlanta in September 2021. They did no arrive until May 2022. Right away , I realized the sofa fabric was very poor quality. There were white threads and feathers coming out on a blue sofa. The blue cording has white thread coming out. I called Charles Ray and they said to send a cushion cover and photos to Sherill. I did . They would do nothing. Charles Ray would not do anything either. The sofa was very expensive. Since then , the cushion that I sit on has sunk. We’ve only had it a year and a half. I’m giving it away and buying one at Haverty’s. It’s better quality and 1/3 of the price. Sherill is a terrible company.

I am sure that if I had read these reviews, I would have ignored them. Don't! I purchased my fifth piece of Sherill Furniture (my second sectional) in July, 2021. I own three chairs and had a sectional for 20 years which I replaced. The foam failed almost immediately. It retailed for $8,600.00. What a disaster! I can say with all honesty that the three chairs I still have and the sectional i had for 20 years NEVER and I mean NEVER had one issue with the foam, padding, support, material, etc. What has happened to this once top of the line company? Customer service is not willing to address it, leaving me extremely disappointed. I would need to send the cushions back and have them re-stuffed at my cost. Seriously?

After working here I felt like I was in an episode of Intervention mixed with a dose of women should have never had rights and its still 1945. To the guy that worked passed all his breaks diagnosed with cancer, I apologize for you having to watch high school drop outs, the whole halfway house, employee "family" members, and all the joe dirts that didn't do a single thing to earn a pay check and then turn around and some how be the best and stay in the bathroom all day. If you need counseling or have 1brain cell then you should work there. Also since we play church...I hope you accepted the lord Jesus christ as your personal savior. He don't like ugly.

This company is a horrible employer. If you work for them, you better hope and pray you never get a disease such as cancer. They will terminate you, and expect you to thank them for it. Cancer is debilitating enough, without the undue mental stress of being terminated because you can't work while receiving chemotherapy. It's a shame that a company would treat an excellent employee and the family of that employee so horribly wrong. Shame on Sherrill Furniture for taking the food out the mouths of a family, especially the 11 month of child of a beloved employee.

I ordered my chairs through my favorite designer storeKnotty and Board and the chairs arrived so quick and in perfect condition. They are amazingly comfortable and American made! I'm so happy with these chairs I plan to order 2 more.

My daughters fiancée was fired after he was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. Then my daughter was told she had to work part time hours; therefore she lost all of her benefits and was unable to put her fiancé on with her. This company has lost all my respect and I highly DO NOT recommend anyone to work here.

I will never work for a company or buy their product that fires people because they get cancer or have cancer. Leadership here is dogs**t, they don't care about employees. If you get sick with an actual disease they will fire you. Terrible company.

Buyer Beware. I Ordered two chairs from them 9 months ago... They arrived yesterday... three months late. Things happen... but they lied to us at least three times that we know of - telling us the chairs were on the truck or lost when we found out they hadn't been made yet. I sat on the cushion one time and the cushion broke down enough to leave a permanent crease. $7,000 for two chairs we can't sit in. I also politely asked my sales representative on three occasions for a representative from the company to reach out to me. She said they said they would not call. That is pretty incredible that a company won't communicate with its buyers. I wish I checked here first.

The receptionist is probably the meanest person I have ever spoken to. I wouldn’t touch this company with a 10 foot pole, take your business to a company that knows how to treat people like human beings. I’d give zero stars if I could, that receptionist would be a better fit working in sanitation with that filthy attitude.

Such a wonderful company and a great price for American made frames! Happy to have this line within my own home. The quality, employees, and what the company represents is amazing!

Very well made furniture that has held up great for over twenty years and survived several moves. Would not hesitate to purchase from them in the future.

Purchased a 3K plus lounge chair in Feb of 2022. Was purchased from Carolina furniture store in Williamsburg Va. The chair is aesthetically nice. But the quality of the padding, filling, and foam are cheaper than any piece of furniture that I have ever owned or sat in - ever. No support whatsoever - lower back aches and the chair has been relegated to a room that no one uses. If you need furniture that looks good - I suppose this Sherrill is your go to. If you need furniture that you use or want to be comfortable - keep looking. There are too many quality furniture makers out there. And American manufacturers wonder why fewer and fewer want to buy American Made products.

I would absolutely NOT recommend their company. We ordered 2 chairs and a sofa through a decorator and local furniture store. It took 6 months to receive the furniture which we were okay with as many places are backed up and shipping is crazy. What took the cake is that the sofa fabric was not what we ordered. Instead of taking ownership of THEIR mistake, they said we could send it back to be reupholstered and be without a sofa for over 6 weeks (in reality it would be 3 or 4 months) with no discount or anything. Keep in mind we sold our furniture in preparation for delivery of the new furniture. The other option was to keep the sofa with the wrong fabric for only 20% off. Sadly we are keeping the wrong fabric as we don’t want to deal with them any longer. Every time I look at the sofa I feel taken advantage of. They obviously don’t understand what word of mouth can do to a company. We will tell everyone we know that they should look elsewhere for their furniture. Buyer beware.
