Great gas prices, and friendly employees. Kind of gives you a sketchy vibe, but you're 100% safe. Few homeless and tweakers wandering around. fish arcades nearby as well as a BBQ restaurant across the street a pool hall and a country music bar. There is also poker/fish machines located in the store itself. All in all still a decent gas house. Just lock your doors when you get out of your car. I know this review doesn't make this place sound the greatest but it really is a good gas station and you're 100% safe.

Ive done business here for almost 20 years .one night a couple of weeks ago my truck broke down and i had too call an uber it happened just down the road from there and it was cold and spiting rain almost unbearable outside so the young lady i was with and i walked to the store and went inside there are a couple of chairs set up there at alittle table close to the window we sat down out of the cold to wait the 30min on our ride ...i noticed very quickly in less than 5min the owners wife staring at us with a less than freindly look ... so i engaged her in conversation and told her politely our situation .she not so politly tells us that this is not a place to hang out and she and the police didnt need our type around there and to leave ....ok you got it and ill never spend another dime there again.......

No beer sales, no lottery sales. The Hickory PD listed this store as a public nuisance. But there were only 3 people there and the parking lot was bare.
