Due to running out of propane, we’ve had to spend $2000 to keep our heat on. Technically, it is Amerigas’ fault and we would like to be reimbursed. Otherwise, we will be switching service soon.

I ordered a delivery of propane online. It was an easy and straightforward process on the web site. I got an email acknowledging the order and providing me with a delivery time frame. The propane was delivered within the timeframe.

Never got an answer to my need…the Customer Care person did not know when the office would call for an appointment. As it turned out, a neighbor was able to help me. Someone came at some point to attach a gauge on my tank. Don’t know when that happened.

This company has went downhill since they outsourced customer service call centers!!! You always get representatives that don’t speak English and you can’t understand!!!! It’s a huge mess!!!! I was receiving service for America’s to refill my tank every 2 months and they changed my plan and put me on will call so I had to wait 5 days or more to get my tank filled and I didn’t owe no money nothing!!!! I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy!

We did not ask for someone to check my guage. And when I got a text about a scheduledappointment I cancelled it. Amerigas has some real communication problems.

New company terms and conditions are outrageous. After October 1 if you cancel they will charge you a 199.99 tank removal fee. You also lease the tank for 90.00 per year. Going with a local company instead.

It doesn’t get worse than this company. Their faulty gauge showed that I had plenty of gas yet I went empty. Tech shows up with a truck full of gas and refuses to pump any because we haven’t prepaid. So we s ramble around get online and phone for an hour and finally access someone to prepay. Tech still here. But wait, the order for the takes 48 hours to show up and delivery up to 10 days later. So we are taking showers at other peoples houses. 3 times we are told that our order is expedited but again I was told the same. A crew has to come out and fix our “their” gauge first, that’s going to take more days. Oh, and now that the gas is empty someone has to be here. So we are showerless AND trapped in our home. The supervisor says the tech can’t pump gas unless the order is on his iPad. We only have a gas hot water heater and cooktop, and a 500 gallon tank. So now the supervisor asks to run my credit so this doesn’t happen again. Yes please . But why now? I’ve lived here for 3 years, yes please. Run anything and everything but run over and put gas in the tank please. Convoluted processes within this company can leave you living a camping life and bumming showers at other peoples house for weeks, all because of their faulty equipment.

Stay away from these crooks. There are reasons they have their Google reviews turned off. Look at their reviews on BBB.org they have numerous lawsuits against them. RUN RUN FAR AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES

I have inquired many times about purchasing my own tank, because the rental cost of a tank is outrageous. I can't believe they don't have one tank to sell.
