My team and I had such a wonderful experience with Ampac. Their emails were very detailed and Samantha was so easy to communicate with. Our client was also blown away by the way that they wrapped and secured all of her items from High Point to Wisconsin! We will be using them again!

I was forced to use AMPAC Forwarding because Furniture Land South doesn't ship furniture west of the Mississippi. My furniture was ready on 3/7. AMPAC promised a 7 - 14 day delivery. They had full payment and it took them a month to deliver. I would call them and ask for a confirmed shipping day and they would promise to call back and didn't. I would email them with NO response. I went back and forth for weeks with NO response. I finally reached back out to Furniture Land South for assistance and they could not get me a confirmed shipping date. I was so frustrated.....I finally threatened to get an attorney involved. With the threat of legal action, I finally got a response. They confirmed by white glove service for Saturday 4/16. On Friday 4/15 a truck showed up with my boxed furniture and wanted to just drop it off. I paid for them to set it up and haul away the packaging. I had to send it away and hope they showed up on Saturday to do a white glove delivery. Finally, an hour and a half late, I received my furniture. The team that did the white glove deliver brought NO tools or a dolly. The had to use my husbands tools to complete the job I paid them to do. BEWARE do no use this company!!!!

Ampac does NOT communicate. They do not return phone messages nor emails.Like many companies, they experienced staffing problems during covid. However, after charging me over $4k to express ship furniture to a client out of state, the goods arrived late and one piece completely damaged. I have been trying since August to resolve this matter.I have spent hours and hours trying to reach them. When I disputed the charge, the denied the credit card's attempt to resolve.I am a professional who ships items in many different states using a variety of packaging, freight receivers and white-glove delivery. This is the worst experience I have had in over 7 years. I have no idea how they can stay in business.My advice is to search for another shipping option.

Wasn't to bad had to unload truck.Fter loaded. It transmission was act funny.freinfly up to then one e was cussing talking shut to another guy on phone that works there.thas was really professional.

I used AMPAC as my Furniture Consolidator and I wish I didn’t; first lesson learned ALWAYS ask about all of their charges upfront and in writing; I was overcharged for many unknown and hidden charges not to mention the delays and slow response from the person in-charge of operations and in some cases I had to escalate the issue to the General Manager in order to get a reply to my many e-mails!!

After receiving my Furniture some of the items came broken and some came with scratches (they did not take a good care when loading and unloading of my furniture), furthermore I was charged for a crate for one of my expensive items to find out upon arrival that it was poorly boxed (not crated) without any protections inside!! Overall very expensive company, not so great customer service with many hidden charges, and unjustified delays!! stay away from this company!

Terrible company and very poor responsiveness. They've had my items for a year and a half (yes, I live in Puerto Rico and things were stalled a bit with Hurricane Maria but a year and a half?). I have had to send the same emails 5+ times and make several phone calls to get even a simple answer or response. And this is a very simple case. In addition Ampac is now holding my items hostage trying to charge 50% more than the original quoted price.....post-Hurricane Maria (price gouging?). They won't return emails and efforts to escalate the case to management haven't worked. Be careful of this organization.

OK, right now I am working with Ampac Forwarding to develop some new business reflecting new trends, but first I was a customer for over 17 years! Ampac became the distribution center for all my furniture industry clients. Although my own business model changed, many of my original clients still use Ampac because they know how to handle fragile, fine, and valuable products, they can pack or crate anything, they ship with less than .5% damages through a network of the best special carriers, and they offer very individualized services to each of their customers. Ampac is more than a freight forwarder; they are a full operations department, and never fail to put together solutions as evolving needs require--like light assembly, COM, repairs, close out inventory sales, etc. The perfect year round resource for international companies, inventory and diverse freight management systems, Ecommerce companies, start ups, quick ship programs, High Point Market logistics, and those looking to even out their margins by outsourcing. I highly recommend this shipping company. It is hard to find a shipper in the furniture industry who has never had an issue or a situation involving damage, and this one is no different. BUT, what is different here is that when this occurred, great care and attention was taken in the effort to make the situation right. You can't ask for more than that. Family owned and the owner, Kregg Kinnear, can be counted on to be professional and personally attentive.
