Unfortunately my puppy died this morning ???could have been alive if you guys saw him and treated him!! Will never go there again!!!

The veterinarian and assistants (all 3) were great. I could tell they had a love for animals and were knowledgeable. It should also be mentioned that they were personable and understanding to my concerns.

They are never on time. I dread every time I take my dog and know it’s going to be an ordeal.

So far the overall experience has not been positive. We have had several appointments where we have shown up and then an hour later told we needed to come back later, or they didnt have the vaccine we were there to get. We have yet to engage with a vet at the location, had a vet call us to tell us our pet was there and they examined them even though the pet was at home with us. The pet has been injured by the staff. And generally the staff is not overly friendly or helpful outside of one tech.I would NOT recommend utilizing this location

Wonderful staff, terrific care and concern for your pet, clean atmosphere, a bit more pricey than other vets but all in all a great vet

The wellness plans customer reps suck at what they do. Which was why I left the first time and I was stupid to come back. One of the worst customer service I have experienced

Brought my sick dog in at 5:30 while they were still open for 30 minutes and was told the vet had left because it was “slow”. If you advertise you are open until 6pm, then you shouldn’t leave until 6pm.

We brought our puppy in to get weight on the scale and my daughter stepped on the scale and the lady working the computer, very shrewdly demanded get off the scale! You do not speak to other people's children that way there was many other choice words she could have chosen to use and be polite about it. Completely unprofessional.

Had 2 pets there and went with the wellness plan. Nothing but a payment plan. When my pet died, I still had to pay the balance of the plan. You cannot stop it, which I thought since I paid monthly. They don’t tell you this when you enroll. That’s Banfield corporate and the local just has to enforce it. When my last pet was put to sleep, I called to tell them and I got a ‘sorry about that’ and ‘I’ll tell everybody’. The vets make the difference and Dr.McKain was great, the only reason I stayed. But she moved and I’m done with them. Get a good, local vet that isn’t a part of the business machine and get insurance or save on your own to help with costs.

If anyone is looking for a vet, I strongly recommend avoiding Banfield Animal Hospital in High Point. Multiple times, they have refused to treat my two cats. I finally decided to end my wellness plan with them. Now they insist I pay 80.85 to complete my plan. Essentially they want to be paid for services NOT RENDERED. They have refused to work with me on this and ste so far refusing to work with the BBB. Other customers have filed similar complaints.

After refusing multiple times to treat my cats, they decided I still needed to pay more when terminating my Wellness Plan. They refused treatment because the cats growled and hissed. They're cats. At the vet. Of course they're scared and maybe mad. It's been very difficult to engage with them on this and they continue to try to evade. I've filed a BBB complaint at this point.

They are scammers and will rip you off! They charged me for X-rays that they took on their outdated equipment, which the doctor could not read properly to diagnose my fur baby's problem. The doctor bluntly blew me off and told me to go to another vet to have X-rays and other test done because their X-rays were not clear and that they could not help me. The doctor lacked all compassion or care for me and my fur baby!! WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I had to go to another vet and pay for another round of X-rays to get a proper diagnosis and treatment. If youabout your precious fur babies, Don't take them to Banfield! AT LEAST THEY CAN DO IS REIMBURSE ME FOR THE FAULTY X-RAYS THEY CHARGED ME FOR!!!

In the past, I would have rated Banfield much higher. The last several times I've taken my two cats to them, they've had so much trouble working with them that they have sometimes just given up and done nothing. They sold me something to help relax them before an appointment, which seemed to help a bit. For today's appointment, I was unable to pick up the medication to relax them because Banfield was closed the Saturday I was supposed to pick it up. (They had closed due to something unfortunate that happened to a doctor, I believe. They called on Friday to warn me that they might close on Saturday but if they did, they'd call again to have me pick up the meds. They never called so I assumed I could just pick it up Saturday.) So I took the cats to the vet with no relaxation meds. They basically declined to examine Shelby because he hissed and growled at them, though they did get a vaccine into him. I'm paying regularly for the wellness plan, but I'm definitely not getting my money's worth from them. Some animals are afraid or angry at the vet; aren't vets supposed to be trained to handle that? And they say that I, the owner, can't help restrain them because of their insurance; I'd happily sign a waiver. So I ask myself why am I paying for something they refuse to provide? This is not the first time I've driven the cats across town and had Banfield refuse to do what I'm paying for. I'm leaving the wellness plan and finding a new vet.

We got a puppy in June of 2022 and the first day we got her we got the wellness plan. The staff could use a lesson in customer service. It’s hard to even get them on the phone sometimes. Well even if you book an appointment in the morning for the same day at a later time they charge for an emergency visit. Even when it’s not even an emergency visit. Just recently our puppy has cherry eye, they gave us a cream but said surgery is the fix. After waiting 3 days for the surgery estimate they called us and told us it would be $1000. For just one eye. So I called around at other vets and no other vet was even close to being that expensive. So we will gladly be taking her to another vet for this SIMPLE surgery. So then we decided to just see if we could cancel our wellness plan because it’s not even worth it anymore. So we called and were told that it’s $1,200 just to cancel the plan!! Don’t go here they’re thief’s. It should not cost this much! They are just trying to take advantage of people who care about their animals. We are now stuck in this contract till June and pay every month when we won’t even need to go back to the vet until her next vaccine which isn’t till July. Wish I knew all this before going through all this trouble. Definitely WILL NOT be renewing the contract for the wellness plan.
