I found this store about 2 year ago but swore I would not go back due to the rudeness of staff. But my wife and I return this weekend and it must be under new owners. The store was stocked with great furniture and the saleswoman was incredibly helpful, a big change from my first visit. I t was also much cleaner.we will definitely be back.

If you love to sneeze, you’ll love your time perusing Ol’ Mr. McCrusty’s Rust Bucket Emporium!Come with nothing, and leave with a sharp, rickety tricycle!

Just okay. Drove out of our way to another shop and visited this one too. Won't drive out of our way again, but if you're local it's worth a try.

Very hard to navigate this place, went multiple times and owner is very arrogant. There's no prices bc they will look at you and pull prices out of their as*. Def not impressed with cleanliness and service there, asked the price for different items at different times and it's not consistent. Def seen better antique/ vintage places like this in LA, TX or NY...

Has some interesting pieces. Prices are way to high. If you buy anything from them, you are getting ripped off. Buy elsewhere.

This place is rad. So much cool stuff packed into one place. Prices are pretty high though. Best time to go is when Market is in town.

This is a great place to get ripped off.Used to go to Golden Oldies at least once a month. Ignoring that there are never prices listed on items, we raved to many of our artist and designer friends about it. We ignored the disarray. We gladly looked passed the literal garbage of used napkins and plastic soda bottles scattered around the place.Over the last six months we’ve spent several hundred dollars, all in cash, and had pleasant experiences. This last time, however, we felt like we were being followed around. Somehow, items that we’ve previously bought at least ten each of, had almost doubled in price. Items we were quoted at $40 became $65. This is after a six week absence. We finally know why there’s no price tags.It definitely feels that not only are their goods curated for a certain clientele, but their prices are as well. They price items on how they’re feeling that day.Beware superficial merchants who do not appreciate veteran customers. We’ve been told by employees that they sell select merchandise to large chains, who in turn, it seems, give better prices.Never again will they receive our business. The place feels incredibly dishonest and crooked. Shame they squandered so much potential.

I have tried to shop at this place twice and BOTH times have been turned away with it closing during posted business hours. And I was not the only one. Ridiculous to post business hours, the. Close when people are coming to shop. Obviously the owners don’t give darn.

Weird in the best type of way. If you're in High Point and want to explore a real antique store, you have to check out Golden Oldies. Their space is filled to the brim with treasures but you have to check out their fire pits, light fixtures and vintage ambulance outside. Prices are standard for an antique mall and they have items from every era!

Very few items with prices and felt like we were intruding. There was several items we wanted but couldn't find out the answer. Plus, if handicap, too hard to navigate

This is not what I would call a traditional antique store. Pretty much everything in it is definitely an antique but it is 90% furniture. Only a few smaller items. Just furniture everywhere. I have never been to a place like this. I have been to furniture forward places, but most of those carry everything from stuff made a year ago to 100 years ago. This is nothing but old and reclaimed. Another thing that was very different was that a really good portion of the items were stripped and ready to be refinished. When I asked a gentleman about it he said that they will strip and refinish anything you want. They also repurpose things, such as old doors turned into tables. If you are looking for big, old, or unique - this is the place! They had items from homes and stores alike. Just some really fascinating pieces I have never seen before. The only negative (that's why I'm giving 4 stars) is that very little is labeled with a price. This is probably because if you want them to work on it it would cost extra, but I don't like not having a ball park understanding when I am interested in things. It always makes me concerned that they are giving me the price they think I would be willing to pay. Based on the few prices I saw and the age, size and condition (really good condition) of most of the items I would guess it would be pricy though. Definitely a place to go if your looking for a unique center piece.
