I reserved a car for a work trip and when I got there, the staff was rude. Then I was told they didn’t have a car for me and I would have to wait. There was someone in the lobby that was ahead of me and he had already waited an hour. I cancelled my reservation and had someone pick me up and had to reschedule my whole trip.

My experience with the Hertz location was extremely disappointing. The customer service I received was far from satisfactory. The staff at the location were exceptionally rude and unhelpful throughout my rental process. Their demeanor and attitude were completely unprofessional, which left a negative impression right from the start. What added to my disappointment was the fact that I was charged an additional cleaning fee for dog hair and leaves in the vehicle. I was unaware of any specific restrictions regarding pets in their rental cars, and the contract I signed did not explicitly state that dogs couldn't use the vehicle. This lack of clarity in their terms and conditions is frustrating, and I believe it contributed to the misunderstanding. When I attempted to address the issue and inquire about the charge, the customer service was even more abysmal. I tried calling the location multiple times, but I was consistently hung up on without any explanation or opportunity to discuss the matter. This level of unresponsiveness is simply unacceptable in any customer service context. In summary, my experience with this particular Hertz location was marred by the rudeness of the staff, an unjustified cleaning fee for pet-related issues, and a lack of clarity in their contract regarding pet usage. To make matters worse, their customer service left much to be desired, as I encountered unhelpful and unprofessional behavior during my attempts to resolve the issue. I would caution others to be cautious when dealing with this Hertz location and to consider alternative options for their rental needs.

A friend reserved a car for the weekend, several days in advance . Get there to get the car turns out needed a actual credit card. I know the Hertz at the airport requires a credit card , but was aware of the one in town needing one. So they went to Enterprise. ?

Nathan assisted me with a vehicle . He was very nice and efficient . The process didn’t take long and he had a selection of vehicles to choose from . I definitely will be renting from this company again.

Young lady was very welcoming and the process to pickup the car was very good. Forgot a personal item in the car during the return and getting the item back was easy.

That was easy!!! We haven’t rented a car in so many years. We rented one from this Hertz and we’re greeted by a wonderful front desk person. She explained everything we needed to know about the car and was extremely helpful. The car was very nice and looked great. They didn’t have the car we originally reserved but upgraded us for free. We will definitely be back if we need a local rental.

Today was a bad day - we all have them. I had a car issue that ended up costing me a lot of money. I had to rent a car because of this. Now my day didn't get better, but the fine staff at this Hertz sure did make it a little better. They were prompt, professional, friendly and made sure I was well taken care of. In a world of understaffed, overworked folks, (and I am sure this store is no different at times) the supervisor and staff were totally awesome. I appreciate them very much and when I need a rental, I will gladly return.

I feel they are unprofessional. Ppl are nice but my God reservation was at 10. Car was prepaid. Still had issues with getting rental, then they didn't have the car ready. They had to "spruce" it up. The truck was dirty. Hour later still waiting on them to finish! HATE IT

Hertz in High Point, NC charged an unnecessary fee a week after return. When I went to drop off my car at a local body shop, the car was there. I won’t even go into the kind of car that didn’t accommodate my son in the back who had to ride sideways each time because he had absolutely no room (good thing our other son is away at college because there would never have been room for two people back there). When I picked it up I noticed the car’s gas gauge was between full and 3/4 of a tank. When it was time to pick up my car a couple of weeks later, I stopped at a BP and filled it up ($27) so it would be returned with the same amount as I got it. I traveled about 12-13 miles to the body shop and dropped it off and got mine back. Went right back down the road, stopped at the same gas station and filled up my Highlander for $45. A week later we get a charge to our card. I knew I had dropped it off with the right amount of gas so I called. After taking about 10 minutes to even get to a person, they guy insisted they had to get gas for it because “the needle dropped”. I asked where that car went from the body shop to the Hertz location since I dropped it off with the same amount if not extra. He just kept saying the “needle dropped”. Well sir, no, it was in the middle of full and 3/4 of a tank. He would not budge and just argued with me. Why did it take a WEEK for this to even happen? He wanted $20 for lunch or something? I filled up my Highlander for $45 and it took a Ford Ecosport $27 from me and $20 for them??? So that tiny Ecosport with the small gas tank was more than my Highlander? I think not.
Lessons learned here-
1. People are rude even when they run a business.
2. People are going to nickel and dime you for everything even if you don’t deserve it.
3. Take a picture of the fuel gauge at pickup and drop off! Take a picture of mileage left until empty as well.
4. Do NOT say they can refill the gas. Which I would like to point out that I declined that on the contract but they charged me anyway.
We will never use this company again!
