My brother and I came in looking for doorbell chime and it wasn't were it was specified online. Unfortunately the first few people we asked for were busy...changing shelves or something? Luckily Allan (I might be spelling it wrong) came to the rescue and got us in and out wicked fast. They were in a different location but that's on the website not the workers here. Will definitely pick HD in lieu of Lowe's (which no employees came to assist us when we tried there first) for my next purchase

Worst experience ever trying to get an appliance installed. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Definitely not worth the hassle and headache!!!

This was the worst experience I have ever had with any kind of store. I ordered the washer/dryer on 3/14/23. On 3/27 delivery failed because the machine was dented. On 4/1 delivery failed because our associate helping me place the order did not include a stacking kit, 4/6 stacking kit was not on the truck, 4/13 the washer and dryer were not on the truck. No one seemed to care that I am going a month without a washer and dryer. When I was told I would receive a call on 4/13 about the new earliest delivery and compensation no one called. On 4/17 I reached out as to see if I was going to get the product my card was billed for ($200 above the receipt price) I was treated as if I was inconveniencing them.

I don't know why this store is unfriendly. The manager might want to find out. Everytime I go to refunds I am not greeted to cue it's my turn. I am then not spoken to. It is t that difficult to attempt some sort of greeting. Management problem in my opinion.

Honestly, this place is a joke. I ordered a bath sink on 12-21. they it was scanned in and at the store, but they can't find it. I had to reorder it again. 2 Days, later a lady Rhonda call me and said they don't make the sink anymore and I need a refund. I called them back and they said the sink are still being made. I now got an email that said the replacement sink has been delivered on 2-9. It's 2-11 and I call and they can't find that one either. A lady said she will call if she gets anymore information. Believe it or not, this exact thing happened last year, except they lost 1 and the reorder was wrong size. I thought last year it was an isolated incident, and gave them another shot. WRONG they have some big problems in this department. Let's hope Lowes can do it right.

This Home Depot has been our go to spot for the last 6 years, our visits were always wonderful and the staff was always willing to help and go the extra mile. We've seen several changes in management, changes in employees, and changes in the overall vibe of the store in the last 18 months and things have drastically gone down hill. Our last visit was Sunday and when we went to the checkout, I asked the cashier to apply the 10% off military discount to which was met with a grumble and he looked to my husband for verification (I'm the veteran). Overall that was the last straw and we will be doing business elsewhere for the foreseeable future. Which is a bummer, we used to look forward to our Home Depot trips.

Although I am more a fan of Lowes, I do frequent the High Point Home Depot location when they offer a product that I cannot find anywhere else. The parking lot is generally a mess though and the employees are not polite. I was waiting to use a military discount which never can be done in the Self Serve checkout. A female employee curtly pointed at the Self Serve for me to go through there as it had no lines. I triyed to point out that in the past, I have had to have an actual register clerk to scan my military id but she didn't want to listen so, to teach her a lesson, I went through the Self checkout and got to listen to exasperate when she realized I had a military id to deal with. I calmly said to her, "That's why I was hesitant to follow your direction to get out of line to the Self Serve". She replied coldly, "I didn't know you were doing that (military discount)". I will NEVER use Home Depot or their contractor HomeEnvy again for home improvements. In early May we requested a consultation for a bath remodel to remove our tub in favor of a stand up shower. We met with an area manager from their contractor (HomeEnvy) choose our base, walls and sink countertop. We signed a contract and paid our balance in full. We were given an estimated installment date of July 8th with completion on July 10th. I called the contractor on July 18 and again on July 19 to check on the status. The area manager finally called back saying our materials were in the warehouse in Indiana. If they received the materials (here locally) that week we would be scheduled for the last week in July if received the next week we would be scheduled the 1st week of August. I called the contractor again on August 9th was told 1/2 their workers were returning from quarantine and someone would be out on August 18. At 4 pm on August 18th I called the area manager again to inform them no one showed and if someone wasn't at our home by 12pm the following day we would find a way to cancel our contract with Home Depot. Someone did finally show the next day and removed the tub. Unfortunately this just led to another set of issues and phone calls including one to the owner of their contractor (HomeEnvy). Finally 2 weeks and 2 days after starting, our shower was completed only to be told our countertop will not be available until "maybe" November, and given the choice to wait for it or cancel that portion of our remodel.

As a former ASM for a Lowe's I'm truly disgusted at the lack of service provided by this Home Depot. I normally always go to Lowe's with absolutely no issues because the management at the high point Lowe's is phenomenal, but I decided to try out Home Depot since I have never been and someone gifted me a gift card for depot. I now see why this location barely has a 3 star rating. I placed a $400+ order in the morning so that I could begin my in ground garden. After absolutely no communication from the store I called around 5:45 and the girl who answered for curbside had the nerve to tell me that my order for today couldn't be picked because they had big lumber orders going out the next day and that she wasn't going to ask the 2 pullers they had to stop what they were doing to pull my order even though mine was due before the orders they were working on. What my order that was due today has to do with their lack of scheduling and productivity is beyond me but this is absolutely ridiculous. Spoke to a manager on the phone who flat out told me tomorrow's orders have nothing to do with the orders going out today (common sense). Not sure if it's a training issue or just an employee who couldn't care less but if I were you and you're thinking about patronizing this location save yourself the stress and don't. I would have never allowed a customer to be told this while I was the MOD at Lowe's and would have done everything I could as a manager to make sure the order was pulled today in order to satisfy the order which is bare minimum customer service. Don't offer a service if you can't handle running that service in a store location.

I had the worst experience at the High Point store on Main Street. I walked in prior to close along with multiple other people and went to the product I had already purchased to make sure I didn't need anything extra (which I did) so I grabbed that and headed to customer service to pick up. I stood there for a few minutes and had to address the employee. She turned around and said "how did you get in here" and proceeded to say "I don't have money up here so I can't help you" and multiple times. Confused I asked, "so I can't purchase this or pick up my order?" And was told no. An employee not in uniform walked through the door and said "we are F'ing closed what is he doing in here". So I laid my stuff down and walked out and told the person I was with "I'm just gonna cancel my order after all that" and then the lady out of uniform walked out after and then said "I don't give a F***." I'm never one to complain but lthis was the absolute worst experience of my life in any store and when I call to talk about it or report it the manager tells me she will call me right back and then doesn't. This is obviously not a veteran friendly store. I don't recommend this place to anyone and wish I could do zero stars.

Now, this isn't all Home Depots, just the one on N.Main st. This store has gone down hill. Management? Hard to find staff willing to help, waiting for help..you'll be waiting for a long time. Curbside pick up, you might as well go in if you have to go to this Home Depot. Managers don't seem to help customers at all from what I witnessed. You get the feeling that the customer is a pain in the butt to the staff and Managers. There are a few really great people in there so it's sad to see them surrounded by the majority that aren't there to help or work. Lowes is much cheaper, the staff are always friendly, and curbside is wonderful. Home Depot has more selection, but this one is not worth it. Online purchases and pick up at the store is just as bad. Save yourself a huge headache and frustration, just go to Lowes.

I went to Home Depot, N. Main st, High Point and looking for Sheetrock supplies, was told to go to lumber section. I saw an employee in the lumber section went up to him and he basically ignored. A female employee came up to me and helped with all my needs. Her name Luna in Lumber Department. She was extremely helpful and very nice. thank you Luna. She made the 5 stars Laura L

An associate didn’t talk with us until it was time to pay. She asked card or cash. In and out trip.

I did curbside pick up because I have two children under the age of 2. We waited in the car for over an hour to have someone bring our order to the car after checking in online. Within that hour I called the store twice and an associate told me both times that they were bringing my order out. After an hour my kids were fussing and screaming and I decided to leave. After leaving I received a phone call 20 minutes after I left stating I would need to come back to the store AND come inside to be able to get a refund for my order. The whole point was to NOT go in the store with my two little children!!! Since then, I have completed my order at another Home Depot from which it took them less than 5 minutes to bring my order out to me after checking in online once at the store! What an embarrassment to your store and I will never shop there again! ***WARNING DO NOT DO CURBSIDE PICK UP!!!!***
