I waited a very long time to post a review in hopes of me not being so angry when I wrote it. Last year, we needed to board our two dogs and cat. The dogs have been boarded many times before but since we moved to a new state, we needed a new place. I have two black labs who have always been boarded together. When we arrived for boarding, we found out they planned to board them separately. If I would have known this ahead of time (and I did ask and was told they would be together), I would’ve gone somewhere else. It was too late for that so against my better judgement, I left the dogs and cat. They had all of my contact info as well as emergency numbers for our friends. We only saw one picture of them posted the day they were dropped off and none the rest of the week, which should’ve been a red flag. We picked them up a week later and were told one of our dogs tried multiple times to dig out of her kennel overnight and that her husband had to keep fixing it. They told us which dog, and it surprised me because that behavior wasn’t typical for the one they said did it. I asked if they were sure they didn’t mix up the dogs and she said, “No, it was the black one.” Both dogs are black - how do you not know both of my dogs are black when you've supposedly cared for them for the past week? You cannot tell them apart by color. At that moment I realized I made a horrible mistake leaving them here. At no point was she concerned for my dog, just the door her husband had to fix twice. I can guarantee she was trying to get to her sister. Had any concern been made for my dog, I would’ve offered to pay for damages, but she had no concern for my dog. When I got home, I discovered my dog had sores on her mouth probably from trying to get out, as well as having worn her elbows down to skin - no fur. My dog should have been seen by a vet for the sores but they chose to just neglect her instead. Had they called me or my emergency contacts, we would have come and gotten them. I would have left my vacation early had they called. It took several weeks for the sores on my dog’s mouth to heal and several months for the fur to grow back on her elbows. I’ll never go back to this kennel and would never in good conscious recommend them to anyone. They tried to say they would still accept my other dog and my cat back, but given their lack of care and compassion for my other dog, I would never even consider them.

Loving Pet Inn has been our go to for boarding since Roxy was a puppy! She is almost 17 and under the new owner’s care, although Roxy cannot hear and her vision isn’t great, I love leaving her with Pam and Karen knowing she is getting as good of care at LPI than she does at home!!We sometimes call and check on her and get a return call immediately. A special plus is seeing Roxy on the FB page! Although she is aging and has a lot of senior issues, she still seems to “socialize” well with her housemates and is calm and relaxed when we get her home. Thank you Pam, Karen and the entire staff of LPI for always providing Roxy a home away from home! The Richardson Family, High Point NC

I was so excited we found this conveniently located place to board our small dog. We had an unfortunate experience that didn’t appear to go well the last time we traveled and was on the search for another place. Pam and Karen were wonderful to work with! They reassured my concerns, ensured our dog was treated well and could play with other small dogs. Finally, Q-Tip came home and acted the way he always does with us. We knew we’d found the best place to board him!❤️?

Great Service 2X. First when our kid fell through for watching our dogs, the day before the Labor Day weekend, they found a spot for our babies. Then the next day things didn’t go as planned and we were so late for our flight. They checked our babies in so quickly that we made our flight with seconds to spare. I felt so bad leaving so quickly but they were superstars. Can’t recommend enough.

We dropped our golden doodle off for a day of play at Loving Pet Inn &Resort and had the best experience. We picked up a happy pup and felt so safe leaving our furry son with these very capable, kind people so we could furniture shop for the day. We will use them again the next time we or in NC and highly recommend them to others who need to until their services. We trust them and the price was very reasonable. Thank you!

We just moved here from Maryland and were looking for a place to board our two labs. Loving Pet was recommended and they are Fabulous!! Parker and Stella can be a handful but they are always happy when we pick them up and it makes us feel good they are being loved so well while we are gone! Thank you for making this transition for our monsters so easy!!

It has been our 2nd boarding visit. We have a shih-tzu Timmy and he gained a lot of good social skills after both visits. We're very pleased with the service and can strongly recommend it ???

Was told that I would have to place my pet in day care for at least 1 day before the pet could be boarded. This information is not listed anywhere on the website and is an additional charge from the boarding. Also they do not open before 8 am and close at 5:30. Meaning in order to meet their requirement a person would have to not only pay the additional charge but also take time off work. If you are going to require a daycare visit then you need to be accommodating to the work schedule of others and open sooner and close later so let’s can be dropped off and picked up before and after work. This is the first location I have ever found that requires this.
