It's an ok petsmart. Manager was ok. Lady at the register was nice. I ordered online and picked it up and I also shopped in the store as my regular petsmart was out of what I needed for my cats and outdoor critters.

Incredibly frustrating with trying to get a little dog bathed and his nails trimmed.
My little 14-year-old dog was turned away from PetSmart today because they were concerned about his health.
He needed his nails trimmed and a bath that's it. Not a visit to the Vet nextdoor.
He's 14 years old and dying. Instead of just taking care of the dog they refused and suggested I go elsewhere.
Can't begin to describe how disappointed it is.
The kicker is they've been taking care of him for almost a year and my other dog Gracie who passed away.
Frustration upon frustration upon frustration.
Anybody in the High Point Archdale area willing to trim the nails of a little dog and give them a bath?

I counted over 10 dead betta fish in this store. All of which have clearly been dead for a long time and were decaying. These fish do not get fed and are completely neglected until they die and even then are not disposed of. It is sickening to see such an awful thing. Stop ordering so many bettas if you can’t sell them or refuse to even feed them. It was heartbreaking to see.

went to check out an aquarium that was online, when I got to the store, no one was really working, cashier was texting on her phone at 545 pm on Sunday and FINALLY got her attention and she called someone to help me, and SHE was the rudest person I have ever meet, it was like I DISTURB HER break, I was told I could only get the extra discount if I order on line which is STUPID since I would have to pick the SAME ITEM in the store, it only meet I would have to DRIVE HOME, order wait an hour then DRIVE BACK and pick up the SAME EXACT ITEM. but didnt matter to her, I asked about another setup and was told I would have to put together the cabinet even though it is advertisement as Ensemble COMBO. Even though I bought one EXACTLY like the one in the store. The longer we stayed the RUDER she got and she did let us LEAVE without a purchase, When I got home I tried to order the smaller one and ON LINE it stated it was OUT OF STOCK in every store in the area EVEN THOUGH I physically touched one a few minutes earlier, I did put into my cart the larger one AFTER I did a screen shot of the ad and showing NOT IN STOCK, So the next day I went back to the store and looked for the manager who we have dealt with before and he actually gave me a HARD TIME when I said I wanted to get that item and the additional 20% off as per the sale, and he said that was the ON LINE price which I showed him the paper showing out of stock in HIS STORE PLUS he was standing right next to it, still nothing, and on top of it if I order the larger item which said on line said only a few left, ONLY FEW means MORE THAN ONE, he then stated they did NOT have one in stock they could sell as the cabinet was missing a KNOB, which it was missing SAME KNOB for over 5 months and no one could go to HOME DEPOT and get a matching pair, and if I had ORDERED it, he would have cancelled the order, NOT TRANSFER it to another store, SO IN BOTH cases THIS STORE would have screwed me out of on ONE PURCHASE $45 discount that I WOULD have been entitled to IF they had matched on line and in store inventories, or on the OTHER which he could have said he would have just transferred the order to another store but NO, just cancel it which means if I tried to get I would have been screwed out of $98, NO MATTER what on line orders or in store doesnt matter the customer is NEVER RIGHT even if they are shown PROOF they are wrong, They would rather LOSE a sale and a customer than make things right, If I had bought both items I would have spent with taxes over $900 and MORE after I started setting up, NOW I will be shopping somewhere else, And the store manager that I once thought highly of months ago is NOT that good at all, and I ran into a FORMER employee of that store who had a lot of NOT TO KIND remarks bout him and how he REALLY treats customers and employees. SO SAD the customer has taken a back seat anymore to people who OVER PAID and do very little work, They are COVID employees, ones who have no fear of getting fired and can treat the customers like trash, HEAR THIS CORPORATE when you lost ALL your customers how can you make PAYROLL? NOT ANOTHER PENNY FROM ME

I recently took my two dogs, Cooper, a large Labrador Newfoundland mix (2 years old), and Sadie, a Pit mix (10 years old), to PetSmart Grooming. Both dogs are very sweet, loving, and kind. We’ve been loyal customers for over four years, and our usual groomer, Angel, has always provided exceptional care, noting significant improvements in Cooper’s behavior thanks to obedience training. Sadie has always been well-behaved due to her age.
However, our latest visit was deeply disappointing due to the behavior of a groomer named Kelly. Upon arrival, Kelly seemed disorganized and took an unusually long time finding our appointment. During this time, Cooper became visibly anxious, as he and Sadie are inseparable. I requested to walk him to the back, which was denied, so I asked for assistance in getting him settled. My request was ignored, and the other groomers stood by without helping, causing unnecessary distress for Cooper and creating a scene in the store.
Angel arrived shortly after and handled both dogs with ease, as she always does. Madison, who has groomed my dogs a handful of times when Angel wasn’t available, also provides excellent care. However, the lack of professionalism and empathy from Kelly was unacceptable. When I picked up my dogs, Kelly’s demeanor was rude and unprofessional, further reinforcing my concerns about her ability to handle pets with the care they deserve.
This is not the first time I’ve had a negative interaction with Kelly. Her behavior suggests a pattern of unprofessionalism and a lack of concern for both pets and customers. As a responsible pet owner who ensures my dogs are well-trained and well-cared for, it’s crucial to feel confident in the care provided by the grooming staff. Kelly’s actions were unprofessional, showed a complete disregard for my pets’ well-being, and created a stressful and chaotic experience.
I urge PetSmart to address this issue immediately. Kelly’s behavior is not only unprofessional but also potentially harmful to the pets in her care. PetSmart should ensure that all their staff meet the same high standards of care and customer service that Angel and Madison consistently provide. It’s imperative that the company takes decisive action to prevent this type of behavior from happening again, ensuring that all customers can trust their pets are in good hands.
In summary, while Angel and Madison are excellent groomers, my repeated negative experiences with Kelly have been unsatisfactory and unprofessional. I strongly encourage PetSmart to take this feedback seriously and make necessary changes to uphold the quality of service their customers expect and deserve.

I have taken my Maltese to Lauren in the grooming shop for a while and she has done a good job. I have a new bichon poodle and when I took her yesterday, I asked her not to cut any hair on her head at all because I know most groomers don't cut a bichon's head properly. I also asked her to cut half the length of her body hair. When I picked her up, she looked like a fox. Her top hair was cut, her face was butchered and her body was shaved. I didn't realize how bad it was until we were in the car and I really looked at her. I called back and asked why she cut her head and face after I asked her not to do it. She insisted that she hadn't cut her head at all. I'm really upset at the haircut but more upset that she denied it. I think it's pretty obvious her face and head are a completely different shape. She had a matt on her leg and she shaved a spot and left the hair around it and on the other legs longer. I'm just furious!!

If your a dog...This is as close to Heaven as you can get. I am sure pet owners love its convenience as well. The staff appears dedicated but I have noticed slip ups from time to time. Especially at the front entrance which can get overwhelming urine smell because of the four legged patrons who stop to mark the post( and irresponsible owners who do not walk 10 feet to allow pet to mark a grassy area just off the store front) But staff appears to have used an odor neutralizer to get the worst of it under control.

The short version then the long version.
Short.
They don't price match their own company's prices. So I ordered from chewy.
I keep a couple T8 UVB bulbs in a cabinet for my bearded dragon. I just installed my last bulb and was looking to restock. I try to keep at least two. I looked around for the best deal because the pricing goes anywhere from $20 to $40. Luckily right now all of the online stores had the same price. Amazon, chewy, and petsmart all had $19 for the bulbs. I was already going to high point to see my parents. I decided I was just going to stop in and pick them up. I would prefer to support my local store than get it online.
Getting to the reptile section I realized I needed some vitamins as well. Grabbing the vitamins and then grabbing the bulbs, I noticed the price was not the same in the store. Thought to myself, no worries I'm sure they price match their own store. It's not on clearance and I'm not asking to price match amazon. It had a pick up in store option. Walking up to the counters I made sure I informed the cashier before ringing everything up, that I was looking to price match from the online store. As I was opening the webpage to show the cashier, she informed me they do not praise match those numbers in red. I looked at her and said, excuse me, it's your own website. Then she informed me it was store policy they don't price match the red price. I'm not a Karen, I'm not going to ask to speak to the manager. I'm not confrontational I'm not going to argue with her. I didn't wait for her to ring up the products to see if the in store price was the same as the online store price. I looked at her I smile and I said thank you. I left all the products right where they were and I walked out of the store saying, have a nice day. When I got home I ordered 6 of the bulbs on chewy, including the vitamins. Not only were they the exact same price as the online store for petsmart but I got free shipping as well.
In conclusion... the high point Petsmart could have gotten the profit from my purchase. Due to their policy, another company got the profit of my purchase.
I gave them three stars because the store is very clean and well stocked.

Would no longer recommend the grooming salon here. My favorite groomer left so I tried someone else at this location. They shaved both my dogs so low they look like little bald rats. Then charged a de-matting fee on top of the ugly haircut. If they were going to scalp them I should’ve been notified and why charge the extra fee. Not sure what happens when I leave but my dogs hate it here, so that was the final straw. I called to give them a chance to rectify and the manager was not helpful.
