Shady business practices.
I cleared my unit out on July 28 2025, but admittedly failed to remove the lock before the start of the next billing period (August 1, 2025). I got a billing notice on August 4th 2025 and I responded to the site office on August 5 , 2025.
I Tried to explain the situation to the office manager and she was not trying to hear it, she actually cut me off while I was attempting to speak.. She told me was that I would still have to pay for the entire month of August.
Wow
*****This is the same lady who asked me to leave her a 5 star google review back when I moved into the unit (for doing nothing) . She seemed lazy and apathetic then , and based on my most recent encounter, not much had changed”*****
I later offered to pay a pro-rated amount for the days I forgot to remove the lock and was flatly denied by the online chat assistant
Not good business at all. I’m disappointed in the way they treat a customer who was never late on a payment and really just made an honest mistake.P

What an awesome experience I had with Kathy at Public Storage in High Point NC. I had been looking for units in my area but no one returned my calls. I pulled up at Public Storage and had a unit n less than 15 minutes.Thank you Kathy for the amazing service.

I’ve had a storage unit with them for almost 2 years started off paying like 40 something a month but they increased the price like every year now paying 72 a month for a very small unit.Tried to cancel 2 days after 1st of the month and wouldn’t work with me on paying for the month insisted on charging me for a whole month 2 days into the month and additional charged me a 15 dollar late fee while being rude about it and raising their voice at me unnecessarily when I did not raise my voice to them.Guess that’s how you treat your long time loyal customers at this public storage.Don’t waste you month at this one go to another public storage or another storage company.
