I've been there twice and a woman I think was called Jamie helped me. She was very patient with me because I don't speak English. Your attention was very good

I was scheduled for a drug screening @ 7:40 am. I arrived around 7:20 am. I waited in the parking lot until opening time of 7:30am. I checked in in my mobile device. Problem was no one came to open the office until 7:36am. After someone arrived to open the office I went in & waited about 10 minutes before I was called. She was not nice or friendly at all. Kindness in a professional environment goes a long way!

This was, hands-down, the WORST customer service experience I have EVER had. I am the customer…..and I received ZERO SERVICE. Literally ZERO. Why should I have to be inconvenienced by employees not doing their job? Or not being there AT ALL? Why am I forced to use “self-service”? I was at my doctor’s office for my hip surgery pre-op appt. and she told me I could go get my blood test at Quest as a walk-in. I got in my car, asked my phone to get directions to Quest Diagnostics on Church Street. I provided the address. When I arrived at the building, Quest Diagnostics was NOT on any outside signage. I thought it might the wrong place. So I called and got nothing but automation. All I wanted was to ASK A HUMAN if I was at the right building so I didn’t have to walk up a hill with hip pain, and go in only to find out I was at the WRONG place! After cussing out the somebody that was NOT there, but should have been….and being entirely frustrated and aggravated at the lack of my ability to speak to an actual human being, I got out of my car and walked up the hill with my painful hip. I walked into the building and saw on a sign in the lobby that Quest was, in fact, on the 4th floor. I took the elevator to the 4th floor and walked down an extremely long corridor to the other side of the building and when I got to the door, there was a note on the door saying that they were CLOSED FOR LUNCH from 12:30 to 1:30!! I blew a freaking gasket!!!!!! Had I been actually able to speak to a human being on the phone, I could’ve AVOIDED all that pain, and all that aggravation, and I would have known that I was at the right location, that they were closed for lunch and I would’ve come back at another time. But no. So, I go online to make an appointment, which I thoroughly resent because I, being the customer, expect, and prefer an ACTUAL customer SERVICE experience. I expect to be able to pick up my phone, call a business, speak with human being, and have that human being schedule my appointment for me. I resent having to schedule my own appointment. I resent being forced into “self service”. With as much as I pay for my own healthcare and the services surrounding my healthcare (as well as for EVERYONE ELSE’S healthcare, including illegal aliens), I expect MORE. But I did it reluctantly. I scheduled my appointment for 11:30 AM the next day. I scheduled it at the High Point location this time, which was slightly more convenient for me, and I arrived about 3 minutes early. I walked into the office only to see an empty lobby and a lone kiosk where I was expected to “self serve” my check in. What I did NOT see was a human being behind the sliding glass window in the office to greet me, ask me my name, and ask what time my appointment was, so she could check me in. So, I was forced to use the “self service” kiosk. I then sat in the chair by myself in the waiting room and waited approximately 8 minutes. I heard two girls talking on the other side of the door the entire time and wondered why they hadn’t called me in for my appointment. It was obvious there was nobody else there. The parking lot was empty and I was the only one with an appointment at 11:30. So I knocked on the door and a girl came out and said, “Oh I didn’t know anybody was here! Did you check in?” I said, “Yes.” She said, “Well it hasn’t come through yet.” Seriously????? This is what your modern technology gets you????? Had you actually paid that employee to sit at the desk and greet me, and check me in, she would’ve KNOWN I was there!!!! But no, I had to waste my time sitting and waiting for two girls who were doing absolutely NOTHING, to finish their little conversation about their grandmothers in order to give me my blood test. This is NOT how a company should do business!!!! It amazes me that you’re in business with an operation like that. What garbage!!! DO BETTER!!

I was very disappointed at my visit to Quest yesterday. The technician was not friendly at all and seemed bothered that she had to take my blood. A little kindness goes a long way. Someone should tell her that. I think I will find somewhere else to go. Like Lab Corp.
