Main elevators Floors on 7th floor north and rooms themselves had a lot of debris on them. Restroom in family waiting area on 7th floor north had not been cleaned at 11:00am and trash can was overflowing with litter. Floor was so sticky in the patient room that you almost had to pry your feet off the floor. Family waiting area on 7th floor north is USED for STAFF meetings M-F from 11am to 12noon. So family waiting must relocate elsewhere in the building while staff has meetings. Is this hospital NOT large enough that staff meetings can be held somewhere else? Patients families should not be asked to relocate so that staff can have a meeting.

Decent hospital as far as the staff and care you receive but you will die waiting on anything to be done Here does not Matter if it's the ER , waiting to hear from a doctor, cardiovascular doctor appointment, checking out to go home , help getting up for the bathroom etc. You will wait a absurd amount of time so be prepared with food , water , and something to kill time!

Was not told before my transfer from ER to in patient that it would be an observational stay that may not be covered by insurance. I was frequently told to expect tests that never happened. Visits happened many hours delay.I was admitted and held under false pretences for two days for the promise of tests that did not happenen. The doctors and nurse did not speak coherently, clearly or intellegently except for two, including the Cardiologist. Each food delivery taking 45 minutes was unsatisfactory. The bed was not made. There was no sheet on top of the mattress cover.Nurse kept promising things that did not happen, or had to be reminded.I was deprived food from 7am until 1:30pm unnecessary since no tests were given. The food was either overcooked, burnt, tasted bad, and extremely tiny portions.I was unable to reliably get my phone charged. The nurse had me do things for her. She had a unenthusiastic and apathetic attitude.I came by Ambulance. They kept telling me about heart related probabilities and tests. The Cardiologist did not see me untill afternoon the second day, only to tell me I only had heartburn or GERD. Trash and garbage was left on the floor, and not removed. I feel I was kept an entire extra day entirely to profit from my stay. I kept being told by the nurse or doctor that another doctor would come but took hours.I called to cooperate with letting the nurse wheel me out. I received the attitude "We have other patients to take care of. I had to just walk out of my room and the building. Then I was so late getting out, my ride was cancelled, I was charged about $6 cancel fee. Then we had to wait on the bench outside in my pajamas for 20 minutes for another ride.I was told that they could get by medical history from Bethany if I stayed untill Monday. Then, on Monday afternoon, I was told that they could not.

Patient was admitted to Behavioral Health for 72 hour evaluation. She had to be moved to 6th floor because she needed meds. She did not receive a medical evaluation to determine health needs. She was off her oxygen for at least 24 hours. She saw psychiatrist once a day but no therapy. She was discharged after 48 hours and not stable emotionally for a patient whose husband is in hospice. UPON DISCHARGE she was missing 3 rings and a sweatshirt. I pray they can find the.

The Physical Therapist are great. They attended to my problem and stabilized my ailment. I feel great! HOWEVER, Shelley, in the front office was indifferent and rude to me. I noticed she was very charming with others, even knew their names and bent over backwards to help them. But with me, well, she was rude every time I went in for my therapy appointments. But the therapists made it worth my time!

Went in because Wake Forest Baptist Urgent Care said I would have to go to the ER. All I needed was cough syrup but they can charge you for a whole lot of stuff if you go to ER. Anyways after 4 1/2 hours I left with nothing. No treatment, not being seen or checked on. This place is a sorry excuse for any type of Healthcare provider.

Decent enough hospital! But you are absolutely lucky if you get Samantha as your nurse!! Not only is she extremely effective and professional, but she is a riot! She kind of reminds me of JD from Scrubs but is less fake and a lot more fun! If I could give 6 stars I would! Great service! Ps Thanks for the water!!)

I went to High Point hospital on Sunday and I got there at 12:30 p.m. did not leave until 8 p.m. . Ayhan lower back pain that was severe. When I checked in I told them I had severe back pain and they let me sit there ,8 hours this is not acceptable or health Care facility. Six of us was taken back in a small room and a doctor came in and spoke to each one of us with the other six people there. I felt like my privacy was violated. Who talk to you about private things with another person sitting there this was a bad decision on the doctors part. I felt like he couldn't care less about anyone of us in that row he just went from patient to patient with his little laptop saying next next next next like we were cattle. And he was running us through troth. I felt sorry for not only myself but this poor man who had his 80 year old wife in there who had Alzheimer's because she was getting agitated. And as the day went by she started throwing up she was cold and they would not give us blankets the waiting room was 65° the whole day. How I know this the man sitting beside of me had a temperature gauge on his phone and he said it was 65 degrees in there while we all set and complained about how cold it was nobody would get a blanket. I noticed that the whole time I was there there was no more than 10 people around me at all times sorry for them to be running behind it have to be more people. as a health facility and emergency room facility it seemed like all people were doing was walking around and talking to the other employee. All the employees seem to do is talk to one another and not even acknowledge poor patients sitting there. Each employee had another employee with them so if you had two employees for each patient why did it take 8 hours for me to see a doctor about a muscle strain in my right side of my body back. It is 11:30 on Monday I called at 8:30 this morning still have not got a call back from the hospital. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. Until they change the way they run people through the emergency room I would not suggest to go there. If you have an urgent matter and you're in pain especially back pain you do not need to see it or no longer than 8 hours. I definitely will be making a written complaint to High Point hospital along with contacting any other person that I feel that can get the word out to the board to anyone on the board at High Point hospital. To tell them the public cannot put up with an 8-hour emergency room visit someone is not doing their job

Worse ER experience when it comes to heart issues. Having chronic heart failure and chest pain and arm pain. They dilute my insulin with saline. Give me a narcotic before they even tell me what it is or tell me the warnings about it right into my iv. They say there is nothing wrong but I get my blood text back with the information on my hospital app and their is so much wrong in my blood. They told me I would be admitted to a room in a couple hours than I asked a nurse how long it would take to get a room after waiting 2 more hours than they say should be afternoon which was 10 hours later. The leads had fallen off and no one came into check for over an hour. That is when I realized it wasn't safe to stay at this hospital. The ER here is horrible.

My wife has pain in her leg and the physical therapist has been great treating her with respect and care she shows compassion for her patients that is noticeable from the first second you meet she provided some relief with the first session and made recommendations to the doctor. We are looking forward to the sessions and relief from the pain
