Went to this location on Friday Oct 20th to get assistance with my utility bill. I called the monday prior to inquire about days that help with this particular service takes place, i was told to come in on Oct. 20th. I arrive on Friday morning and was told by the lady at the front desk that those services are on Monday the 23rd. I leave come back today on the 23rd at 9am and was told by the same lady that they are no longer giving out applications for utility assistance and that only takes place at 8:30. I asked why she did not provide that info on friday when we spoke prior and she had no answer for me. Lady at the front desk does not have any customer service skills and obviously doesnt care about helping people.

This place is the worst place ever. You have to share a bathroom with men and women. The place is very cold. They do not put the heat on. You can’t cook your own food and you can’t bring your own food. If you bring your own food, they will take it from you and give it to someone else. The food is worse than jail food. No bottles of water only sink water. this is the worst place ever for a shelter what else they don’t want you to eat your own food on the property they make you leave. Yet you can smoke your cigarettes in front of the building. They force you to go to church, no matter what your beliefs are. I would not recommend this place to anyone what else. It this is hands-down one of the worst shelters I’ve ever experienced in my whole life. They need to do better for sure.

My friend stayed here. They allow a few white people to stay here just to get their I'd and social info to get funding but get other residents to harass them and make it look like they are the ones causing problems so they can kick them out and save their funding for their own family and friends. I am a expert on this behaviour because I am a social worker myself. They need to shut this place down.An audit would prove who is really getting help and housing.

Worked as a moniter at the shelter part-time. Great director over the employees.

I was told that since I'm a man with children they won't help us and that me and my children just have to be homeless. And that if I was a woman they would help.

Amanda in the food pantry department is extremely rude. From the things she was saying, she is very judgemental and doesn't know the complete process for their "assistance programs". I had to reach out to them 4 times to speak with someone, never received a call back from anyone as advised the 3 times previous. There was no assistance provided! If I could rate negative stars I would!

Staff take advantage of residence. They ask for cash without giving a receipt. The facility isn’t being maintained properly. The are abuses towards handicapped. They do not provide snack to the children any more. They do not provide really social workers just the staff that work there. While I have not been a resident at the facility. I have had a family member there.

I applied for rental assistance on 10/11/2021. I haven't heard from nobody there. I called every week until I said forget it. It's November now and still no response.
