The only problem is that they cannot possibly have filtered water, as it leaves white water spots all over your car as it dries. It didn't seem to do that six months ago, so maybe they have a problem with their filtering system.

The facility looks nice and it's a convenient location. I went to get a touchless wash to get off water spots due to recent rain. The wash was fine but the blowers didn't come on at all to dry the car. The "spot free" rinse didn't do it's job, so I went in with water spots and came out with water spots. I could not find a phone number to contact the operator. I will not be returning here.

EXTREMELY RACIST! AVOID!!!!! I went with my family with both our vehicles. We were helping one another wash our cars and had our toddler with us. The worker told me if I take one step away from my car he was going to have it towed. He lied and told me the police would do it and that it was a warning because he could not prevent it from happening. I spoke with the police and they notified me that it is against the law for the police to go onto that property and take my car w/o reason and simply because I was not standing next to it and helping my husband with his car. I am Nigerian/ Irish mixed. He belittled me in front of my husband. I stayed by my car waiting for my husband to be finished with his car wash. He had our son with him. I could not leave the property w/o him because I had his carseat. As soon as my husband walked away he came back and continued to tell me my car was going to get towed even though I was now standing next to it and belittling me. I parked in the parking spaces for the car wash. There was no sign saying no parking and other people had parked in the same spaces and he did not tell them the same things as me. Everyone else at the establishment that was not of color was not told any of these things or there families. I have never had such a horrific experience in my life. Especially at a car wash that should only take 20min and be a in and out. Do not give this place your business at all. Horrible Establishment.

Purchased a $10 wash. The whole machine stopped working halfway through the wash. Do not use this place.

This car wash is horrible. Doesn’t even look like I washed my car after spending 10$ on the wash. Will not return and definitely wouldn’t recommend.

If you care about your vehicle and refuse to use car washes that have brushes, this could be your new go-to touchless car wash in High Point. Touchless car washes do have varying degrees of effectiveness, but this one left my truck looking nice and gray again after a couple weeks of sporting the not-so-fashionable pollen yellow appearance package. Shiny-Nu is located at the intersection of Hartley and Main Street, and should be relatively convenient for most in High Point. The lot is pretty small, with the two vacuum stations being right on the side of the building, so it can get pretty tight during peak times when several people are in line for the two car washes with both vacuum stations also occupied. Maneuverability can get interesting for larger vehicles. You can pay for the car wash with credit cards, and four different wash options are available (see photo of menu). The kiosks are abnormally low, so be prepared to get out of even stock height trucks and SUVs to pay and make your selection. I didn't use the vacuums, so it wasn't an issue, but I never saw a change machine. I may have missed it, but keep that in mind if your plans include the vacuums. Shiny-Nu is a good spot, and my new go-to for a touchless maintenance wash in between details.

Car wash looks to be recently updated but doesn’t do a very good job if your car has even a light amount of caked on dirt.

Actually I have returned since this 3mos report. Still too high in cost.I suggest going 1 every season as a special treat but no more than that.

I paid $10 and it didn’t even do everything it was supposed to do. Machine just shut off. No number to call and get it fixed. No website or email to complain. Save your money

You have to know exactly how fast and how slow to go to get completely rinsed clean underneath and dried on your way out. Otherwise, the machine shuts off.
