Overall spectrum service is amazing but I went to go pick up my internet and the person I spoke with wasn’t helpful at all he didn’t ask if we needed anyone to come hook up the internet, he just threw the equipment on the table and was focused on a football game.

Drove 35 minutes from Asheboro, made a prior appointment for a Sunday july 21st at 1pm. Got there and the store was closed

DO NOT USE SPECTRUM IF YOU RELY ON INTERNET FOR WORK OR SCHOOL.
Not just because of outages, but because they will do "routine maintenance" without any prior notice.
If I have to retake this Class because my internet went during an exam (again), you WILL be paying for it.
There are several fiber companies in the area that provide faster, cheaper, and more reliable service.

I need to give Edwin Sierra a 'thank you' for his great service while purchasing my Samsung S 24 Plus on 04/05/24. He is EXTREMELY knowledgeable while being very helpful getting my new phone set up and transferring my information from my old phone to the S-24 Plus, he made the entire process very simple and quick, EXCELLENT customer service!!!

I had an error on my bill and visited the south main street spectrum store for resolve. it was minutes before they closed for the day yet Melinda greeted me, was so nice and helped me out tremendously! shout out to her and her manager for setting the example, you guys are awesome!!!

Visited a couple weeks ago to transfer my son's and my phone and was told that our phones were not compatible for transfers therefore we have to buy new phone from spectrum in order to transfer our lines there. Really not I need of new phone at this time and I feel like not enough was done to help us meet our needs.

We went to this store to have our mobile phones switched over to Spectrum. There was a problem with my number not being able to be switched over due to an over the phone rep entering a wrong number on mine by mistake, I’m sure. However, Mia Smoak was very helpful the first time we went and when I went back to have mine fixed she took the time needed to make sure my phone was transferred successfully. I truly appreciated her kindness and patience in doing this!

Title: Unbearable Customer Service and Poor Attention to ClientsRating: ⭐️ (1 out of 5 stars)During my recent visit to the Spectrum store to return my cable modem, I experienced a level of poor customer service that was beyond unacceptable. After an initial acknowledgment from an associate, I was left hanging for over 20 long minutes, as staff members busied themselves with other tasks, completely disregarding my presence and the long line behind me.Several customers, understandably frustrated by the apparent lack of respect for their time, opted to leave rather than endure more waiting. It wasn't until 25 minutes into my ordeal that another associate showed up to assist me. And here's the icing on the cake - he launched into a sales pitch to retain me as a customer!Despite explaining that a very persistent associate had already wasted three hours of my time without succeeding in persuading me to stick with Spectrum, this new associate was undeterred. Even after I mentioned my satisfaction with my new service provider, Lumos, he wouldn't let up.His claim that he too was a Lumos subscriber - a surprising detail given that he worked at Spectrum - quickly turned out to be a slip-up. A tense conversation around the merits of fiber-optic technology ensued, my point about its superiority in most digital activities seemingly falling on deaf ears.Sadly, the drama did not end here. Even after realizing that I still had their cable TV pack and telephone service, the associate remained obstinate, insisting that I would return to Spectrum. His unwelcome persistence turned a simple trip to return a modem into a highly draining encounter.Finally, I let him know that any future interactions with Spectrum - if they ever occurred - wouldn't involve this particular store due to the significant waiting time and blatant high-pressure sales tactics. In an awkward and potentially inappropriate response, he attributed my dissatisfaction to being "in a bad place," to which I reminded him that he was the one engaged in a thankless job at the Spectrum Store.The entire experience screams of poor training, disregard for customers' time, and a relentless sales tactic that does more harm than good. It is hugely disheartening after being a Spectrum customer for more than 20 years.My advice? Don't waste your time with Spectrum. There are better alternatives out there like Lumos or AT&T where your patience and loyalty won't be taken for granted!
