Walmart Supercenter

Walmart, Department Stores, Grocery Stores
Hours: Walmart Supercenter offers a wide range of groceries and household items, with the convenience of shopping online through the Walmart Grocery app. Customers can order fresh groceries, including organic produce, and enjoy the store’s Freshness Guarantee. Walmart+ members benefit from free same-day delivery and free pickup, with no mark-ups, matching in-store prices. Express Pickup is available for a small fee, and the store accepts SNAP EBT cards. Trained associates hand pick groceries, and customers are notified when their orders are ready, with the option to check in via the app before arriving to ensure their order is waiting. The store also provides a service where groceries are brought to and loaded into customers' cars, making shopping easier. However, the store has some issues. The checkout process is limited, with only two cashiers for customers with more than 15 items, while self-checkout is restricted to 15 items or less, leading to long wait times during busy days. Recent renovations have improved the store’s appearance, making it cleaner and more spacious, with more automatic check-out machines. Nevertheless, the refund policy could be better, as refunds are primarily processed back onto debit cards, which can take days, instead of offering cash or Walmart gift cards. Additionally, some customers report a lack of accessible electric wheelchairs and inconsistent produce quality, with moldy onions and rotten potatoes. Prices have increased significantly over three years, putting pressure on fixed-income shoppers who sometimes have to order certain products from elsewhere. Customer service at the entrance is also noted as lacking, especially when assistance with electric carts is needed. Overall, Walmart Supercenter is working to improve, but some areas still need attention to enhance customer experience.
