My husband and I just stayed at 200 main for my birthday trip, and we are SO glad we did!
The room was stunning - we had a king bed with a fireplace and we loved how easy it was to turn the fireplace on and off! We enjoyed that for some slower mornings and evenings. The shower and bathrooms were huge and so nice!
We do recommend getting a second floor room - we had one and were glad we did! We
Had seen other reviews saying to try to get second floor and we recommend it as well! We also loved looking out our balcony! Everything was so nice, including the pool and hot tub!
Melany and all staff were so sweet and even gave me a birthday card!
Next time we come to highlands we hope to stay here again! I would rate it 10 stars if I could!

Really excellent location and amenities but the floors are really creaky so you hear the people above you as they walk and for me the beds are too firm. Try to stay on the second floor.

200 Main is a nicely remodeled older hotel within easy walking distance of downtown shops. Clean rooms with balconies. Did not trigger my severe asthma.

200 Main is a great place to visit. Hotel is cozy and well managed. Staff is accommodating and welcoming. Location is a quick walk from town center shops and restaurants . Parking is easy. The Highlands and 200 Main offer a great getaway!

The first treat you will notice is the lush landscaping and soft fragrances of the well kept property! The saff is Highlands friendly! The rooms are very clean and well kept. We stay several times a year and have never been disappointed. We'll done 200 team!!!

I can not say enough about 200 Main and their staff. The rooms are clean, decorated nicely and tranquil. Walking distance to all the shops on Main. Beautiful scenery and more. The staff was incredible. Warm and welcoming. Juana was a life saver when my luggage did not arrive. They went out of their way to go off sight to get me what I needed for my work trip. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Don’t forget to visit Acorns part of the property while there and pick up something unique. Thank you and we can’t wait to return in the Fall!

Loved our stay here! Outdoor pool open 24 hrs & the fire pits were so nice in the evening. Location is great, the rooms are pretty, but what really stands out is the kindness of the employees. Every encounter was so pleasant. And when I lost a ring at one of their other buildings, the 200 Main/Old Edwards Inn staff went above & beyond trying to track it down. Looking forward to my next stay!

The room I had was a basic hotel room with all the necessities needed for a comfortable stay. Nothing over-the-top, but perfectly clean and fine for a pleasant stay. If you are a frequent Highlands go-er, and are accustomed to luxury, this wouldn’t be an option that you’d enjoy. It is dog friendly, but they only allow pet owners the bottom tier room, which is what I described above. The fee for a dog is PER NIGHT ($75) which is not right, IMO. Location is good and within 3 min walking distance to all the downtown things.
Overall 7/10 for convenience and cleanliness, not for luxury.

What a beautiful place to stay when visiting the highlands. Landed here for a wedding and loved it. The grounds are well maintained, the rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make our stay great. Greeted warmly at check-in and helpful with all inquiries. And it is right in town with easy walking to shops and restaurants. If you are going to Highlands be sure to stay here. Interestingly we had friends staying in other locations that cost more and they wished they stayed here!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds are well kept and it is very peaceful. The rooms were nicely decorated and updated. This hotel is with walking distance of many great shops and restaurants.

We stayed at 200 Main in Highlands for my best friend's wedding, and I can honestly say this was possibly best hotel experience I’ve ever had.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt a step above even the nicest chain hotels. I was skeptical about the 2 stars and I can’t for the life of myself figure out how this is a 2 star hotel… It truly felt like we were staying in a luxurious 5 star hotel. Little touches made a big difference — like the fact that they use Molton Brown bath products (a personal favorite we also use at home!). Not just any hotel carries MB — such a special detail! Nespresso in the rooms, a FULL spread of Harney and Sons tea in the lobby for your morning, and great wine/beer/seltzer selection to kick off your evenings!
We had a king room with a balcony overlooking the fire pit and waterfall — and it was AWESOME. Cozy, relaxing, and beautiful.
But what really sets 200 Main apart is the people. The team genuinely cares about your experience and goes out of their way to make you feel at home. Joanna, the manager, and Emma at the front desk were absolute gems. My fiancé and I are still talking about them two weeks later — how funny, kind, pampering, and helpful they were all weekend long.
We felt like part of a family here, and I can’t praise this team enough.

200 Main is a big step above even the nicer chain hotels. All the furnishings even down to the doors and trim are solid and high-quality and feel like they were carefully picked to give an experience of luxury. Staying here feels like you are staying in a high-end home rather than in a hotel. I recommend the fireplace rooms, very cozy! And the folks who check you in are very courteous and helpful.

Wonderful place to stay. The accommodations were relaxing and perfect for what we needed. Also the staff could not have been more helpful with anything we requested, even down to needing a bandaid. The room was clean and above expectations. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get away to relax and enjoy.
