Old Edward’s Inn is beautiful especially after the recent Hurricane that destroyed much of our great state. However, my expectations were not met here with the price tag. Our room was much smaller than we anticipated and the bed seemed more like a full vs. queen. The bathroom needed a gallon of bleach as there was mold all over the caulking in the corners of the shower and around the sink as well.
The service everywhere we went other than Madison’s was so bad. We were ignored at every location and had to ask to be seen. We stayed Saturday-Monday and quickly learned the bars that are marketed as being open on Sunday evening, were actually not which was disappointing.
The spa is nice, but I did not appreciate having to lounge in my robe in a co-ed space before being seen. My massage, however, was great.
The weekend was enjoyable, but not for the price point.

I found this place randomly online and was completely blown away. The hotel is right in the middle of the town and totally walkable with ample parking for guests which is great because street parking was limited the weekend we went.
Service: I read some comments that said the service here had declined a bit and my experience could not have been further from that. Every staff member I saw was totally attentive and willing to help.
Rooms: So well done. Heated floors in the bathrooms, fireplaces in most rooms and very comfortable beds, it was really incredible.
The last thing I will say, which sounds small but really added to my experience, but a lot of the things here were included in the price of the room which made it feel like I got great value for my purchase. Complementary champagne when you check in, coffee/snacks/etc included, they even had a complementary car you could rent for the day (we didnt do this but thought it was cool). When I pay for a "luxury" experience I don't like to feel nickle and dimed and i certainly did not during my stay here.

Didn't stay here but just visited, but it is a beautiful setting well mantained. Suits are expensive at $500 to $1,200 per night right now. Leafes are changing now. It's a great time to visit.
Walkability: It is perfectly located for walking downtown, which is picture-perfect right now for photos.

For the fee paid, they can afford to give their guests at least 2 complimentary water per day instead of trying to nickel and dime you to a $5 water in the room. Otherwise, excellent service

we stayed at 200 main the sister hotel, but went to the spa and ate at old edwards! Both places were amazing! Food was delicious, service was excellent and the massage/spa was amazing!!
Walkability: all the restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Short drives to all the hikes and waterfalls.

I recently returned to Old Edwards Inn a place that has become a second home for my family and me over the years. Each visit feels like a new adventure, yet the familiar warmth and hospitality make it truly special.
From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with genuine smiles and attentive service, making us feel welcomed and cherished. The check-in process was smooth, and our accommodations were immaculate as always. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities one could ask for, ensuring a comfortable stay.
The resort's location is breathtaking, surrounded by stunning landscapes and offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether it’s lounging by the pool, exploring the nearby trails, there’s always something to do or a peaceful spot to relax.
Dining at the resort continues to impress. Each meal is a culinary delight, featuring a diverse menu that caters to all tastes. The themed nights add an extra layer of fun, and the staff is always eager to recommend their favorites.
Overall, [Resort Name] remains our go-to destination for a perfect getaway. The combination of excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and memorable experiences keeps us coming back. I can't recommend it highly enough for anyone looking to escape and recharge. We can’t wait for our next visit!
