The reviews are true,we received great service & our room was very clean& very quiet.The only thing that was “not bad “but definitely needs to be replaced would be our mattress.( too firm)& my husband who prefers a good firm mattress because of back pain agreed.that’s it! Otherwise everything was fantastic. We highly recommend & appreciate this place & even with the too firm mattress I still give5*

I am not a person who reviews places often, but this hotel is such a gem that I wanted to make sure the world knows (even if it makes it harder for me to get a reservation). The rooms are meticulous, quiet, large, and stunningly clean. They smell amazing, the artwork is delightful, the breakfast is so hospitable, the owners are a delight, the location is great, and no one nickel and dimes you for parking. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Oh, and the bed is comfy. Oh, and I forgot to mention the marble bathrooms! Seriously—this place is the best.

Amazing- the best place we have ever stayed with our dog. More like a suite than a room - sitting room, bathroom, bedroom and a small private porch. Very welcoming. The staff was friendly and more accommodating than most “pet friendly“ places. A very well maintained property. They are close to stores and restaurants on Main Street. Garage and street parking are available. The continental breakfast was sufficient, but not exciting. Highly recommend this place for a stay in Highlands.

Wonderful ! Loved our stay at this VERY pet welcoming inn. Beautifully decorated, a staff that clearly likes each other and their jobs, and loves dogs. Our room was super clean and the location is right on the downtown edge- so walkable. We (and our pup) had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed seeing all the very well behaved pups staying there at the same time. We hope to come again.

This was one of the most wonderful trips our family has had in large part due to this incredibly special hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt so cared for and like we found a home away from home. Our pug loved every minute of it, from the welcome bag of treats to the comfy dog bed in the room. The staff are welcoming, accommodating and kind. The rooms are impeccably clean and gorgeous. We love this place and can’t wait to go back!

This is the place to bring your dog. The entire hotel revolves around dogs, from dog beds in the room, to dog themed welcome mats. The hotel is conveniently located to all the best shops and restaurants. As the name suggests, it’s right on Main Street.

I had the absolutle pleasure of spending a few days at The Park on Main and was delighted with my experience. The staff here couldn't have been more welcoming. The location is also perfect; it’s so convenient to just step outside and be right in the mix of a real-life Hallmark movie town! But the real star treatment was for my pup, Polar Bear. The hotel went out of its way to make him feel at home, providing special pet amenities that made our stay even more special. It's not often you find a place that loves your pet as much as you do! While the pet-friendliness is what stood out to me this trip, I'd return here without question even with a human travel companion. Thanks for such a nice trip! Looking forward to my next stay already!

Extraordinary hotel and staff! Everyone is so friendly- Victoria and Ana went above and beyond. They set out a beautiful wine service with crystal and an ice bucket in front of the fire for our Aunt's 90th BD! Loved that they help adopt out dogs from the local humane society- we even took Buster and Cedar for a walk since we didn't have our pups with us. The rooms are really clean and well-appointed- including comfy dog beds! Breakfast was just what we needed before hiking and the Bascom. What a unique place. Kudos to the owner/designer of this beautiful hotel!

This is a wonderful, beautifully clean inn in downtown Highlands, NC. In the aftermath of hurricane Helene we were on our 5th day without power and the Park on Main kindly gave us a reduced rate and allowed us to stay day to day until our power was restored. I'm sure those of us who are pet owners have been subjected to less than stellar pet accommodations but this inn is equal to any non-pet establishments I've stayed in. It is meticulously clean and provides all the amenities for a very comfortable stay (large walk in shower, robes, coffee maker, refrigerator, separate living area, sitting area on balcony and much more). And, the dogs get amenities too including a comfy bed and dog bowls. We can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff; they actually cheered for us when we got the news the power was back on. I will definitely be recommending the Park on Main to all visitors to the area.

Amazing experience at this hotel! We brought our dog and were immediately greeted by the manager who was very hospitable and friendly. You can’t beat this location, so many restaurants and shops in walking distance. Would come back!
